This is my second stay and there are definitely pros and cons. Good location right off the metro and walkable through the Marais area. Bedrooms are spacious by euro standards. Good bathroom. I like the tile floor vs having carpet. the street side rooms have no noise protection. But it is a seldom used street at night. I accidentally added breakfast buffet this time. It was clean and fine but I don't recommend adding it when there are better options nearby.

Solid hotel in Paris! Room was efficient and clean. The hotel's garden was lovely and breakfast was a nice spread. You can't beat this location: Metro stop on the corner, great restaurants, bars, bakeries nearby. A fun area to walk around!

Lovely hotel
On the whole the hotel is great as was the service. Excellent location as metro is on the doorstep. My only issue is that as It was my sister’s 60th I asked the gentleman (he was the older man) at reception if they could do something small to surprise her like a cake at breakfast time but he was rather rude and just said no immediately. One receptionist wouldn’t give the name of the manager which I thought was weird. However I would like to thank the gentleman that was there on our last day as he went out of his way to provide us breakfast as we were leaving 7.00am (breakfast starts at 7.30am). He was very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean and our room was very comfortable. Would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room as most hotels have them now. Also couldn’t understand why we had to hand out key in every time we went out but wasn’t really an issue as someone was always at reception. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Room was small but clean. Location is good, 30 min walking from the main train station. I paid 15 euro extra for breakfast and I realised straight after booking this was starting from 7.30 and I would not be able to have it. I tried to cancel it but staff did not allow me to remove it from the booking even though I had a refundable booking. Once there, I tried to ask if I could give my breakfast already paid to a colleague but this was not accepted. I felt the staff was not very flexible and I didn’t feel very welcome.

Ideally located in this district of Paris between Republique and Bastille with a nice and helpfull personal at the reception. The room was clean with a good materace but not very spacious (missing 1 sq. meter to feel comfortable. Walls are quite thin.

Great hotel in the city center of Paris. Safe neighborhood. Clean room and fairly new elevator to the rooms. Extremely important. Stairs in Paris hotels could be very narrow and vertical. Hard for the physical challenged.

Nice hotel in a convenient location
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite which was a bonus - thank you! The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel was in a quiet street a just a few yards away from the Oberkampf metro exit. It’s location is also convenient - just a short walk to the Le Marais area where we enjoyed an amazing choice of restaurants and bars! Generally a short walk to a lot of interesting and non-touristy places. The hotel also a garden terrace which is lovely when the weather is sunnier (unfortunately it rained during our visit), but it was nice to have that option. We would stay again.

Location was very good and close to marais district, many good restaurants in the area. However, cleanliness and hotel ambiance left a lot to be desired. Additionally, there are no amenities in the rooms. No fridge. No microwave. No water. No electric kettle. No coffee/tea. Essentially barebones stay.

I enjoyed a solo trip to Paris staying at the Hotel Alhambra and it was the perfect base for me. It felt really safe, both the Oberkampf area and the hotel itself. Just a very short walk from both the metro and a couple of fantastic boulangeries. Oberkampf also has some fantastic restaurants to eat in. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, with lovely reception staff. The bed was comfy and the shower powerful. What more could you want. I recommend a stay at Hotel Alhambra.

Nice and cozy hotel at a good location. Staff was nice and friendly, checkin was smooth. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was excellent with nice buffet. Need to be little less cheap on the shower-gel & shampoo but other than that it was great experience.

The place is so amazingly located, pretty convenient, the rooms are very nice and clean, it all looks new and in good condition overall, the tv was not too good but we were not there to watch it. The staff are really friendly and overall our experience was really good. Worth it for the price and even more.

Great value for money
Really nice, small, quiet hotel that is very well located. Just a short walk from Place Republique and the really cool Oberkampf area that has lots of nice bars and restaurants. This isn't a 5* hotel, so as long as you don't expect absolute luxury then you will be well impressed with the value. The communal outdoor terrace was a very nice bonus.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days during our trip. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good also! The location is great and VERY close to metro! Would definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely budget hotel in Paris. For our family of four it was perfect, and roomy enough for all 4 of us and our luggage. The room was clean, and the hotel was fairly quiet, even though the walls were thin. Location: Excellent - few feet from the Oberkampf metro station and walking distance to many things. Cleanliness. It was spotless on arrival and well maintained during our stay. The common areas were also nicely maintained. Food: There is a very nice breakfast buffet which one can select for about $13 Euros/person. It had pastries, meats, breads, cereals, and an assortment of fresh fruits. For a large eater, this will be a bargain or comparable to some of the other breakfasts in the area. If you are having a croissant and a coffee, a local boulangerie may be a better option. Staff: In my opinion this is what makes or breaks a stay in a foreign country. All of the staff members we met were very helpful with directions, and advice, extra towels, etc. Things to note: The garden space is really lovely, pictures don't do it justice. Also, if you use the shuttle to the airport, know that it is a shared ride, and you will not be going to the airport. Your arrival time to the airport may be impacted by this. Recommendations: While the bathrooms were very sleek and elegant, with just a glass partition, a shower curtain (or minimally the ability to install a makeshift one) might be more practical in a family room, allowing more simultaneous use of the bathroom.
