"Our stay was exactly how we wanted it… peaceful & beautiful. I believe we booked prior to the pool issue so was unaware that was out of commission until we arrived, otherwise everything was great. The beds are comfy and just mere steps to the sand. Super close to St Andrew’s which was on the top of our To Do list this time as we had never been. Just outside of all the hustle & bustle that comes with PCB. The outside is a little dated at first glance, but a fresh coat of paint would certainly fix...

"This was a great spot for beach time, the location was good for me, an older woman, because it was east of the craziness that PCB can be. "My family and I enjoyed our vacation stay at Colonial Shores. Owner upgraded our room at no additional charge and without me even asking. Would have given 5 stars, but bathroom fan did not work and fold out couch mattress was stained. Asked Manager not to fix during our stay. As nice as they were, I am sure they were not aware of the problem and have since fixed both problems. Will stay here again and would recommend to friends."

"It was awful! The pillows were flat! The online description was NOTHING like the actual appearance of the hotel and they did not understand me when I told them a nonsmokers room in person AND in the reservation that I did 2 weeks prior to staying! And room service came around ONCE!And then another maintenance man i guess you would call him just walked into out room WITHOUT a knock on the door first! Will NOT be staying there again!"

"The home was very roomy and close to lots of activities. The pool was clean but cold which was expected for early April. We wish there had been some lounge chairs by the pool for sunning. The hosts provide lots of towels and linens to use which were very clean. There were a few areas which could have been a bit cleaner such as some sticky spots on walls and cupboards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."
