Walking distance to a pizzeria, coffee shop, and bakery- even in the cold. Parking is right at your back door and it’s an easy 25-30 minutes to Wolf Creek- even when the roads are snowy. The house is probably the most well stocked vrbo I’ve stayed at- there was nothing I needed that Andrew didn’t have on hand- down to ziplock bags and aluminum foil. The Mountain pizza and the Lyft coffee shop were 2 minutes around the corner. Alley House restaurant is a must! Two parks, one at each end of the road were great for walking our dogs. The creek in back was gorgeous and view from kitchen window was lovely. Only drawback we had was not being able to get the tv to work. The dvd player worked so we were able to watch movies, but couldn't get tv to turn on for just tv viewing. Be sure to get instructions on that before you go. Would have loved local news/weather for snow forecasts but it forced us to have quiet time so it worked out fine. The house is clean, very well provisioned, cute and quiet. I would add a small table near the couch and chair to be able to safely set my coffee cup while I eased into the morning. I would also add some outdoor seating options, though I may have been early in the season (early spring) and it is brought out later. The place was clean and perfectly stocked with all of the essentials. The location was within walking distance to excellent restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this property!
