Cozy, Rustic Studio w/ Kitchen Each cabin has been remodeled and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. The decor will vary slightly, but we call our style "Rustic Luxury". Cabin 8 "Jailhouse" has a Queen bed and all linens, a cozy living room area with a retro couch and armchair, as well as a small kitchen with cooking essentials, a small refrigerator, full stove/oven, coffee machine and coffee, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area. Each cabin also has Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. All cabins are quaint and cozy! \*This is a pet-friendly cabin! Your reservation does not include the pet fee. Please pay the pet fee upon arrival - your check-in message will have instructions ($20 per night per pet). Thank you! This cabin has been partially remodeled and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. We call our style "Rustic Luxury". Cabin 8 "Jailhouse" has a Queen bed and all linens, a small living room area next to the bed with a Victorian couch amd armchair, as well as a small galley-style kitchen with cooking essentials, a small refrigerator (a little bigger than a mini-fridge), full size stove/ oven, coffee machine and coffee, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area that also serves as a desk. Each cabin also has Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. All cabins are quaint and cozy! Guests will have their own entrance and separate living area to themselves. There are communal spaces in the grassy areas around the cabins, and guests may also use the Laundry Cabin, located in the center of the property. We are hands off hosts but totally available via text or phone call if you need us! The Ponderosa Lodge is located about 1 and a half miles from downtown Glenwood, along Hwy 6 and Interstate 70\. There might be some residual noise from the roads, but it can be easily quited with the A/C, TV and/or fan. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS ($500 FINE IF VIOLATED!! This includes CANDLES, VAPES, MARIJUANA, CIGARETTES, CIGARS, INCENSE, ETC PETS ARE ALLOWED in this cabin ($20 per pet, per night). All towels, bedding, linens are to remain in the apartment at all times - towels are NOT for pool use!! If violated, we will charge $25 per towel (chlorine and minerals from the pool can destroy our towels!). You may rent towels at the Hot Springs directly. Please clean all dishes, pans, pots and stove if used. PETS. The Host does allow pets in some units, but ONLY the cabins that are clearly marked PET FRIENDLY (Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, AND 8 are the ONLY Pet Friendly cabins at the Ponderosa Lodge location) : There are NO pets allowed in the other locations. If the Guest is found to have pets in any non-pet-friendly locations, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited, and penalties applied. The listing is accurate and the location is nice and close to everything! We enjoyed the games they provided too! the The biggest downside to this stay was just the quality and lack of communication. Upon arrival at the cabin we went to bring in the rest of our luggage and did not realize the door would lock automatically behind us. We realized that we were locked out, and unfortunately my phone, keys and wallet, were all left inside the now locked cabin. We went to the front office to see about getting some help and called the phone number listed on the door, and had no success getting ahold of anyone. (mind you this was around 5 so just an hour after the given check in time) we tried to call/text multiple times, we just needed to code to get back into the room. Thankfully will managed to get logged into the email on my spouses phone to get the door code to unlock the door, but had we not been able to do that I think we would have been left with no luck getting back into the cabin with our belongings. We never recived any sort of contact from the host about this matter at all. I understand it was our mistake but it is a little concerning the lack of communication considering this was check in time and no one was around. Aditionally, the bed was very comfy however the sheets were stained and quality was just not great.
