  • Welcome to the High Tide Retreat. Unwind on the expansive deck or watch a storm roll in off the Pacific from your comfy living room. Stargaze as you relax in the sparkling hot tub.



    The main level boasts an incredible blend of living, dining and kitchen space with ten foot ceilings, warm maple wood floors and wall to wall windows, bathed in natural light. Its the perfect mix of style and comfort for guests who want to experience a Pacific Northwest.



    On the main level there are three bedrooms; two with queen beds, and the master bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom.



    Create simple or elaborate meals in the fully appointed chef's kitchen, and check out the dining room's art wall with back-lit custom glass creations by a beloved local artist.



    Relax on the lower level where there is a fantastic family room with multiple cozy couches, an additional pull-out queen bed, ottomans, and a giant T.V. with a professional sound system all set up to enjoy your favorite streaming options.



    The High Tide Retreat is also a paradise for nature lovers. Delight in the flight of an eagle overhead or wake up to a family of deer outside your window. Just 100 yards from your front door are trails to explore that go deep into the National Forest. There are walking trails and biking paths to the beach, the dunes, and the Nestuca River. Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, Bob Straub State Park, downtown Pacific City and the Pelican Brewery are also just a short distance away.



    With its enormous deck, hot tub and so many other amenities, there is almost nothing like the High Tide Retreat on the Oregon Coast.



    Parking/Occupancy: Please be aware that a maximum of 2 cars are allowed at this rental. There is no street parking allowed due to HOA guidelines. Additionally, the maximum occupancy of 8 should never be exceeded.



    *This home has security cameras at the entrance and above garage for security. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.



    NOTE: As of August 2026 a new home build is occurring next door. Construction hours vary.

My children and I LOVED this place. It’s gorgeous with incredible views. We all loved the hot tub and sitting around the outdoor fireplace. Management was very responsive and friendly. The house itself was well stocked, super clean, and had very cool decor! The kids asked if we could stay there every time we come :)

Our family of 5, along with 3 of our kids’ friends stayed at the High Tide Retreat to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday and to ring in the new year. The home was comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and the view is hard to beat. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again.

The home was perfect for our weekend exploring the coast. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. We were glad to have the self check in since we arrived late. The view from the back porch is stunning. We ate out during our stay, however the kitchen was fully equipped had we wanted to cook at the home.

Great stay in Pacific City!

Our stay at this rental was exceptional. The house offered breathtaking views that were even more stunning in person, and it was perfectly situated just a short drive or nice walk from all the major attractions, including the beach, boating/fishing on the river, and excellent restaurants. The fully equipped house had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and my young kids had an absolute blast. This rental provided an unforgettable family getaway. We can't wait to return!

This property was perfect. Amazing views of the ocean. The kids loved the hot tub. Don’t miss the small trails around the property. Beautiful. Pacific City doesn’t have as much to do as other towns but it’s centrally located. We went north all the way to Seaside and south down to Florence. Great vacation.

Beautiful inside and out!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The view from the house is just fantastic, and because the house is so thoughtfully designed, you get those great views from the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the master bedroom, the deck, and the hot tub. The art inside the home adds a touch of beauty that just gives this place a little something extra and special. Well equipped kitchen, and the dining table is big enough for a large group/family to gather for a meal, which we appreciate. Great service and attention from the hosts, too. And the notebook guide for the unit gave us a tip for a hike that we didn’t know about which became a highlight of the trip. Easy strong recommendation.

Beachy Perfection

Pictures do not do this house justice. From the moment you walk through the front door you’re greeted to jaw dropping panoramic views of the Pacific ocean and Haystack Rock. The open floor plan was perfect for our multigenerational family to reconnect while cooking, eating, playing games and doing puzzles. The huge deck with fireplace was the icing on the cake at the end of our day after beachcombing, hiking or riding our rented e-bikes around the multiple beach trails in the area. This property is lovingly maintained and furnished. The property manager was very responsive. It is truly a gem.
