Nice stay at the Talbot. Food was good, staff courteous and helpful. Would be nice to have had a fridge in the room, otherwise a faultless stay.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room clean and bed comfortable. Only complaint was the AC wasnt consistent. Would be down for hours, but staff worked to get it going when that would happen. Would stay here again thank you!

What a lovely hotel! It is located on the outskirts of Oxford but is really well connected by bus, so this is not an issue. We walked into town and it was a really nice 20 min walk. Very green and very peaceful. The hotel is super clean and really well maintained..The thing that makes this hotel so good is however the staff! What an amazing team! Really kind and professional. Really happy to help! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We stayed in the family suite of this property which was perfect for our family of four.. I loved how there were seperate sleeping quarters and TVs in both rooms (it’s the little things’). The instructions were easy to understand for getting access to the room and departing as well. 2 mins from bus lines and less than 8 mins walk to the Cowley shops and restaurants. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit in a hotel that is walkable to everything you need and less than a 20 mins bus...

Very nice property. At times it was hard to find staff at the front desk. Keep in mind this location is away from the larger town area of Thame - so if you don’t have a car you will be relying on taxis. The food in the lounge was good and the separate restaurant seemed busy. Be sure to pack swimming clothes to take advantage of the spa amenities!

Location is as good as it gets. Oxford center is extremely walkable. Property is old but clean.

This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. Loved our stay. Highly recommend this place. The bunk room was super fun and surprisingly comfortable for 4 adults. Staff were so welcoming and provided super helpful tips on traveling into Oxford. And the food at the restaurant was great. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely, rare, family run hotel. Gorgeous grounds, amazing breakfast, incredible staff. And VERY reasonable! The only niggle was the bed which was far too soft for our taste. Need token these dedicated independent places in business. Well done!

We booked the Allium room. I can honestly say it’s the most beautifully decorated, comfortable bright room we have ever stayed in. Soaker tub in huge bathroom wonderful. Courtney and other staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast full English included. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

This is not only an incredible hub for visits to Oxford and surrounding areas, but it is beautiful and well-maintained. Our stay was wonderfully comfortable, and the staff were helpful both via email and in person.
