"Staying at the Bahamas Island House was a dream! Leading up to our travels and throughout our stay, Jack and his team were super helpful and communicative. They provided recommendations for activities as well as tips & tricks to make our travel smooth. The house was perfect for the 3 of us but I could see how a large group would also be very comfortable there. The kitchen was stocked with every supply imaginable and made it super easy for us to cook every day. The setting is private and serene. Floating in the pool for hours was divine! Little Exuma has the best beaches! (Tropic of Cancer, Pretty Molly Bay) I was surprised how empty they are but also felt lucky that they were just a quick drive from the house. It made getting up to watch the sunrise at Forbes Hill beach very easy! Thank you Jack!!"

"We enjoyed our getaway. Beautiful views of bay and ocean. Our room overlooked the turquoise ocean water. What a spectacular way to wake up and fall asleep with sound and sight of waves. Staff was very kind. Family style place-don’t expect luxury here. Rooms are clean and has coffee machine with pods and mini fridge. Wonderful time to chill and let go as it’s a simple island lifestyle. Enjoyed use of kayaks exploring waters and surroundings. ."

"This was our 5th stay at the Cottages and still was a great experience! Cold AC and a comfortable clean bed, great location, friendly staff and easy access by boat or walking through shallow water or by beach to other places. Good WiFi, beach floats, great music (not too loud, either!) good food and lots of relaxation! See you next year!"

"I stayed at Exuma Palms Resort and had a very good experience. The resort is still being completed and should be fully finished in about six months — it’s clear it will be a beautiful place. Even though not all rooms are ready yet, ours was very nice and comfortable. The amenities areas were in great condition. The only limitation was that the restaurant and breakfast service were not fully operational yet, but it wasn’t an issue at all thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. It’s already a lovely place, and in a few months it will be truly spectacular. Definitely recommended."

"Everything was great! Please keep in mind there might be a few things closed after cruise people leaves. They close the pools bars, some restaurants. But the hotel was amazing, the food was great and everything was really clean."

"Enjoyable stay with disappointing experience. We stayed for 3 nights in March 2026. We enjoyed many aspects of our stay. In particular, the friendly staff, and delicious food at Ma Ruby’s. But, we had a very disappointing experience with our reservation and follow- up by the hotel manager. We made our reservation on Expedia in November, 2025. We paid for our room at that time. Upon arrival in March, we were shocked when told our reservation had not been noted. Our room was not available. Fortunately we had our confirmation information from Expedia. We were given another room and told it was an upgrade. The alternate room had a location right next to our bathroom, where staff would frequently hang out and talk. It was very awkward for us. After returning home, and investigating what had occurred, I became aware that the room we were given was not an upgrade, and actually was a lower cost than the room we paid for. I regret that this issue was not addressed by the receptionist, and that we were not compensated during our visit. I communicated with the manager, Juanita, about my concerns. I apologize for not addressing them while visiting. She responded 10 days later. Her message was friendly , she addressed my issues, and offered compensation. I thanked her, and sent our payment information. I have not received the compensation or any further follow- up from the manager, however in the 30 days after my email."

"I was told visiting this house would be like living in a screensaver...they were right. This place is magical. From the lazy river sand bar to the rocking chairs on the patio watching the turtles swim by, it was the most magical vacation we have had. I didn't know this beauty existed. If you want the perfect place to escape and see the most amazing place in a stunning home this is it. Somehow the owners managed to design a home where every bedroom and every window in the living areas all look at the ocean. Cannot say enough about the beauty of this home and location. I want to move here! We will be back."
