![We hiked 6 miles (round trip) from Flåm to the Otternes farm collective site.  It is an easy and scenic hike along the fjord on paved path, with just the last 1/2 mile or so uphill walking.

The collective farm is now an historic site and a nice diversion from Flåm.

"Very friendly and courteous staff! It was cold outside but the room was lovely and cozy warm. Nice dinner and my breakfast was included. It is right next to the ferry dock in Gudvangen. In the morning, after breakfast I walked over to the Viking Village and did a tour there… very interesting and worth doing. The bus stop was no more than a 10 minute walk from Fjordtel and I jumped on the bus to Bergen. Thank you for your hospitality Gudvangen Fjordtel!"
