"The staff was delightful! The gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant. He made sure we had a room that could accommodate two old people. Thank you, Hicham. We had a couple of challenges once in our room. Raleigh was able to solve both of them in a kind and helpful way. It was greatly appreciated. We would come back again for the staff alone."

"Great beds and loved having the fridge and micro in the room. View is spectacular and having a balcony with chairs to enjoy is lovely. Parking is great and plentiful. The outdoor carpet coverings on walkways are pretty warn and don’t look great but most things looked pretty well kept. I was extremely impressed with Georgie’s restaurant on site. Great food, staff and views. I will go there again even if not staying at the Hallmark. Really enjoyed our time in Newport."

"It’s spring break in Oregon which you would think would mean more staff or the property being ready to handle that. First impression going to our room was a heaping garbage in front of our room , definitely not emptied an it was still the same after 3 days being there . The pool had no towels for us and we had to wait nearly an hour to get any. Then the sauna was broken, the bathroom in the pool area was not cleaned either . I booked this stay as a single mum and we took a walk which is actually a small Hike to get to the beach only to find out that its access is closed due to erosion. I feel That this should have been told to us upon checking in. Ultimately it made us really sad and it was not a great spring break. "
