The Neighborhood:
Just across the bridge from downtown, the home sits near Michigan Street and 4th Avenue on a super quiet street with almost no traffic, one block off the Fox River.
Boatworks Park is just down the street. It has the Michigan Street Fishing Pier, an accessible kayak and canoe launch, a shelter with restrooms and a long pedestrian bridge. It also connects to the Oshkosh Riverwalk, which runs along both sides of the river and makes for an easy walk or bike ride into downtown.
You're also close to the Sawdust District, an entertainment area on the south side of the river. Grab a craft beer at Fifth Ward Brewing, a drink at Greene's Pour House at the Granary, or dinner by the water at Dockside Tavern. Oshkosh Arena, home of the Wisconsin Herd basketball team, hosts games and events throughout the year.
Downtown Oshkosh is only about 2 minutes away. Grab coffee at New Moon Cafe or Elsewhere Market & Coffee House, enjoy Italian food at Truffle Pig, or catch a show at the historic Grand Oshkosh. On Saturday mornings from late spring through October, the Oshkosh Farmers Market fills North Main Street.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are available for trips around Oshkosh and the Fox Valley. It can take longer to get a ride late at night, during AirVenture or in winter weather, so we suggest booking a little early.
The city is easy to get around by car, and two driveways give you plenty of room to park. The Riverwalk is also a nice way to walk or bike into downtown.
Other Things to Note:
The home is on a quiet residential street, so please be considerate of the neighbors, especially outdoors and after 10:00 PM.
Please use the gas grill with care. Never leave it unattended, and let it cool completely after use.
The fishing pier and kayak launch at Boatworks Park are public spaces. Please follow posted rules, and keep a close eye on children near the water.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the home. If we find signs of smoking or vaping, a $250 fine will be charged. Parties and events are also not allowed.
If you notice any damage or maintenance problems, please message us through Breezeway right away so we can fix them.
