Hotel was clean, employees were friendly. Pretty sure there were ladies of the night working there, saw a few coming and going from rooms. Also, there was a police standoff taking place on the floor beneath us. Probably won't return, we didn't know it was that kind of place when we booked.

This by no means is a 5star hotel but it is a really nice lodge with big rooms and with a porch (not private but no one bothers you) and a good sized pool and a nic3 lake view.

Great location, reasonably priced

We found the accommodations to be very clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nothing fancy, but had ample space and included a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Our room overlooked the pool and the lake, which during the summer months, would be an amazing location. It was reasonably priced and we intend to return for a longer stay during the summer.

Vintage hotel

It's an old route 66 looking hotel. Been around some time. But it was clean and the old memoryfoam bed wasn't bad. bathrooms were ok. The old carpet has seen better days. All in all it got the job done.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was old and needs some cosmetic work but clean. The water was hot. The pool was clean. Not always someone in the office. Would have loved a coffee pot in the room!

Staff was very friendly. Manager came in less than 2 minutes to get tv on and showed some free features. I liked that office had snacks and food to buy saving us money and not having to get dressed to go out. Room was very clean!, but bathroom needs some cosmetic work ( ceiling had moldy area) but very pleased with room overall.

Roll the dice----old or new

They seem to be doing some aggressive remodeling. But we didn't get one of the remodeled rooms (like you see in the site photos). We got what they are tearing out and replacing. The bed was comfortable, the room wasn't dirty, just worn. Well, the inside of the door and the door frame were grimy. They are associated with the Inn at Grand Glaize, so we had the option of using their restaurants and facilities. But we only stayed one night, and we weren't on site very long. Grand Glaize is also getting a make-over. I would stay here again. But I would confirm a newer room.
