Excellent stay!

Very pleased with our recent stay! The house lived up to its description in every way – spacious, impeccably clean, and stocked with plenty of towels. Not a single issue arose during our time there. The neighborhood was fantastic, and the Oasis Club provided the perfect spot for relaxation and recreation. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again.

AMAZING!!!

We took a quick weekend trip to celebrate the end of the summer with kids... this house was perfect!! It had everything we needed and more... even better was that it was close to the oasis club which we loved!! We will definitely be back again!!

Champions Gate

Great location - very convenient to Disney attractions. A little challenging to get in through the front gate due to amount of cars coming in at night - but front gate was very good to ensure only the cars which needed to be on site get in!

Enjoyed our stay **beautiful home

This house was perfect for our vacation, it was very spacious, Had washer and dryer host provides lots of towels-Kids loved the pool and the hot tub we also went to the community mini water park where the kids had a blast. Perfect location for the Disney area. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again, we did try to extend our stay with a late check out but they were unable to grant it due to being last minute so if you want more time in the home you need to ask days in advance. Other than that host was very responsive.

Family vacation

It was a great place to stay at. The pool was fabulous and all the rooms were clean. There was plenty of towels and the kitchen had a good amount of pots and pans. We did have issues with the water pressure and we had to call maintenance. They finally showed up a day later. We had no running water in the kitchen for one day. Overall it was a great place.

Very large clean home

Nice sized home with big bedrooms. Home was very clean. The only issue we had was with the dishwasher. We didn’t want to have someone there to fix it while we were there. Hopefully fixed for next family.

Loved it!!

I just wanted to say, my family and I loved this resort from the time we arrived to the gate. Everything at the house was very welcoming and we felt very secured with the alarm and door codes. The beds were so comfyy!!! The pool was nice and clean and it was very much so a vibe. This is the place to be, don’t second guess. If I can leave a longer review, I will but this place is a must stay. My family enjoyed their stay, I’ll reserve is again if I can! Be sure to check the resort out also, it’s so much fun with a kiddie area for the little ones. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and nice. We enjoyed our stay ❤️

Nice Villa

We had a great trip with great weather. The house was nice and clean, as expected from the photos. We paid for heat for the pool, but it was not nearly as warm as described in the house binder. The community pool was quite fun so made good use of that. Overall we had a great time. The only negative is the traffic and getting in at the gate. There needs to be clearer signs on what lane you should be in... or someone directing traffic when it is packed. So I would suggest avoiding coming back to your home from 4-6 pm and you should be fine.

beyond our expectations

Stayed 18th August to 25th August 2017 We stayed at this home in Champions Gate in August 2017. There are so many good things to say about this home and development. The Clubhouse with Pool and Lazy River was a real bonus. The kids enjoyed splashing about in the pool making new friends whilst the adults enjoyed sipping on a cold bear from the bar. It’s a beautiful resort very well maintained and the villa is to a very high standard, very modern and clean with a private pool. We loved the fact it was so close to Disney. We enjoyed eating at Miller’s Ale house and Red Robin at the entrance to Champions Gate. We especially enjoyed the resort/communal feel to this development and we all agreed this was the best holiday rental we have had in Orlando. This home is top of our list for a return visit. i have recommended this villa to all of my friends and family.

We enjoyed how much room we had in the house and having our own heated pool and hot tub.

I would recommend listing the hot tub in the online listing. We didn't know we were going to have that perk. We really enjoyed how close the Oasis Clubhouse was to our property and the beautiful landscape. Being in a gated community was also comforting. The wind blew in a few pieces of trash we had to clean out of the front yard but it was very nice having daily garbage service pick up. It would be most helpful and accomodating to have a few more rolls of toilet paper, garbage bags, and maybe a few more tools in the kitchen (rubber scrapers, a better set of cookware, and bowls for cooking.) The bedding was comfortable and clean. Staff at the Oasis club were kind and helpful.

Nice home and development.

Home was clean and decorated nicely. Good location. Paid to have the pool & hot-tub heated. I understand it was only going to be so warm it just wasn’t comfortable enough for me to go in. My kids were okay with it. The hot tub didn’t get any warmer than the pool. Because of this we really didn’t use it. Know that you are not allowed to use the amenities at the Omni inside Champions Gate which has the lazy river and wave pool. Those are for their guests only as we were told by staff. We thought they were included. Lots of local restaurants, groceries and conveniences nearby.

Wonderful Home for Orlando Area Adventure

The home at 1640 Moon Valley Drive in Champions Gate was a great home base for our family as we set out to concur Disney and beyond during our stay in the Orlando area. The five bedrooms were well appointed and the overall layout of the home is awesome. More space than anyone could need (we were six) and the lanai/pool/spa were a real treat. Everything was clean and extremely well maintained as we arrived and access was a breeze - both to the home and to through the gated community. The Oasis Clubhouse and pool area are a nice bonus for lazy days (you can't do fun parks your entire trip!) and we took full advantage. The staff there are accommodating and the facility is well appointed and maintained. Proximity to Disney, Universal and Sea World was great. We prefer to stay "off campus" as you need a break from the theme parks and we like to spread out. Food and other necessities are easily purchased nearby. We would highly recommend staying here and will come back the next time our plans call for the Orlando area.

Nice property but some problems

The house was nice just a couple of problems .When we arrived there was a note that the dishwasher was broken and would be repaired soon. After the 3rd day we called the property manager and he said it was fixed but the maid’s forgot to take the sign down. It still wasn’t working so we called him again and he said to go under the sink and pull on this and turn that off and on Still didn’t work the whole week. The dryer wouldn’t work either and was finally fixed the day before left. We fixed the upstairs tap ourselves. I would not stay here again even though the place was very nice. We feel if the property manager was doing his job it could have all went well.

Dryer did not work

I rented this property partly for the washer and dryer, I always wash bedsheets (you never know), once I transferred to the dryer it didn't work, after getting in contact with the property management took several tries, they were going to send someone the next day, who apparently were not able to get into the property, while i was there mind you. I was up early and never heard anyone come by.They had no problem coming in the next day while I was out and left towels which we only had 3 to begin with. I kept getting the run around and they sent someone in who looked at it for a minute and determined it needed a part,which didn't help as I was leaving the next day. They knew it wasnt working since before I checked in but still rented it out. They did leave a note (publix notepad paper)of it not working, not on the dryer but under the paper towel roll and trash bag welcome kit.The property management person was dismissive from the beginning.

Very nice house but property manager never addressed my call

I own 3 vacation rental properties in other beach resort areas so I have a lot of experience on maintaining and satisfying guests. This property is really nice and spacious. The location was great. The kitchen was poorly stocked with only one frying pan. The TV in the living room was extremely difficult to operate and the TV in the upstairs bedroom did not work at all. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay until midway into our stay when the smoke detector outside the main floor master started squawking and saying low battery. I called the property manager in the MORNING. I got a message with an English ladies’ voice asking me to leave a message. I did. I asked them to come and replace the battery on the smoke detector. After coming home that evening from a long day at Disney we were disappointed to see and hear that the smoke detector had not been attended to. We tried to go to bed but the sound did not allow any of us to sleep well. Finally in desperation at 3am my husband found a stepladder and we swapped out the batteries from a TV remote with the batteries in the smoke detector. We should NOT have had to do this. I would not tolerate my management company ignoring a simple maintenance issue and it left us tired and groggy in the morning. No none ever called me back regarding this and it left us with a bad impression of this management company.

March 2023 - 6 day stay

The property was indeed clean! The pictures online specific to the pool make the pool appear very large as compared to other pools within this community, which is one main reason I selected this house. The pool is very small, as small as all the other pools. I paid for heat for the pool. The pool was a good temperature, and clean. Interior of the house: we either had no hot water at the kitchen sink or no hot water for the bathroom sinks (first floor bedroom by the pool). The dishwasher was broken. There was another complaint about this from 2023 where you’ll see they did send maintenance. We washed all dishes by hand. Complete lack of water pressure: first floor bathroom near pool. One night at midnight there was an electronic test of the front door keypad. It sounded like someone was entering the house! Suggest to change the time from 12am to daytime hours and inform the renter. Family room remote control for tv not working - batteries were taped in, no backing. Champions Gate is gated. When entering via Westside Blvd, we encountered several delays morning/noon/night with backed up cars trying to enter the complex in the right lane (residents, guests with a QR code). Champions Gate is gated. This home is in The Retreat section where there isn’t a second gate entry. LOTS and lots of renters here, tons of cars and people. It was spring break time so not sure if it’s this way all the time. Lots of police activity at the gate 2 nights, as in 3-5 cop cars. Not sure why. Front door keypad is on a timer - you really can’t check in before 4pm on your arrival day, unless you obtain permission well in advance. We will return to Champions Gate next year and likely try to stay in a different section with a bit less chaos.

Overall disappointment...

Pros This property is close to one of the main entrance gates and the Oasis Club. The indoor home temperature was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. A vacuum and Swiffer are provided but you must purchase Swiffer pads. Instacart and The Vacation Grocer are great for delivery of groceries. Garbage is picked up daily, early in the morning. Cons Access: Initial entry into the community can be excessively long depending on day/time Kitchen: Basic kitchen items were provided. However, some items such as the pot tops or utensils are rusted and need to be replaced. There were only 2 dishwasher tabs provided for the entire stay. Hot water in the kitchen did not work. Maintenance came and showed us how to get it to work. Water: The water throughout the home was problematic. It gave off a sewage/sulfur smell that was very unpleasant. Maintenance said this was normal and there was nothing they could do. However, I found that the neighbors didn’t have this issue. Homeowners should look into this. This issue ruined what would have been a great vacation for us. We spent lots of money on bottled water to cook and clean with. Cleaning Standards: According to your welcome letter the following additional steps are to be practiced but were not: Spare bedding is to be stored in sealed plastic containers and placed in each room. Disinfectant spray has been provided for your use for highly used surfaces. Comforters have been removed from the beds and stored in a bag in the closet. We ended up washing the bedding because we were not sure that they were washed. We also purchased disinfectant and other cleaning products. Hand sanitizer was provided, but there was no label of ingredients to tell if it was alcohol base and what percentage. Pool: Pool heater was broken throughout our stay. They were not able to get it up and running before our stay ended. Also, pool area was overcome with spider nests. I called maintenance about this as well and there was no action taken. Bathroom: 1st Floor guest room toilet was broken, and we had to call maintenance 3 times to fix it. On the third go, maintenance changed the pump and it still did not work properly. We decided to not call again and to just use another bathroom. Lastly, the vacation owners did refund the pool fee, but did not offer any other concessions or ways to resolve my biggest issue which was the water. I would definitely rent in this community again, just not from these property owners.

Nice house and plenty of room

The home was clean and comfortable. Bring your essentials such as dish soap and dish sponges, coffee salt & pepper. Most other vacation homes I have visited provide these basics but this one does not - Also be sure to ask what days are best to check in. One evening we came back to the home after being out and there was a 2 hour long wait to get into the front gate because new check-ins were happening and it was complete chaos at all gates. The traffic didn't clear up for 4 hours. Other than that inconvenience the home was great.
