"This house was absolutely wonderful. The location is like something out of a storybook. You drive by a farm to get there, and the porch has a view of the cows in the field, yet it is totally private. There are mountains around the house and we watched the clouds clear out of the redwoods as the day went by. The kids played croquet on the lawn and loved the ping pong. "If you want to visit the redwoods, this location can't be beat! Just minutes to various trails and visitors center. Be aware there's not much food-wise in Orick, so come prepared with groceries or be willing to drive a bit for restaurants. The house was clean, and I really appreciated the ability to do laundry and how well stocked the house was. The listing does need to be updated - I believe when I booked it had listed a hot tub and two tvs for example, there was no hot tub and only one tv. Not...
