OTHER THINGS TO NOTE From our reviews and conversations with tenants, the things that stand out about our house: Close to Palisades Tahoe Resort on a flat road (easy access in snowing conditions) Well equipped gourmet kitchen (spice cabinet, all appliances, etc) Comfortable beds and luxury linens and duvets. Large indoor garage and additional parking in driveway. No parking allowed on roads during winter. Well thought out spacings to spend time in large groups / families and retreat to quiet areas. Lots of little comfort and practical details throughout the house that prove that we, as owners, also enjoy the house and are always thinking of ways to improve the experience. COUNTY RULES Each county requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to our home's Short Term Rental Permit. We thank you in advance for abiding by the rules below, also included in your signed in the Vacation Rental Agreement. Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week, Noise carries easier and further in higher elevations. Per the ordinance: No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance or nuisance to neighbors. ABOUT THE AREA Palisades Tahoe Resort ( former Squaw Valley Resort) is the largest ski area in North Lake Tahoe, and was the host site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. It’s our annual family trip and we had ourselves, three sons, their wives and one 18 month old. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of spices and staples needed. The setting was perfect - spacious bedrooms for each family, a cozy living area, and a location close to the ski slopes. We had a beautiful white Christmas as we watched the snow fall from the huge picture windows throughout the house. In addition, the caretaker, Miles, helped make our stay worry-free as he was always available to answer questions and bring us any items we might need. He even picked out a Christmas tree for us to decorate. The owners, Debbie and Mike, were also very helpful and accommodating. ##### Hank A. It was very relaxing and would be an overall five stars except for the cleanliness. The upstairs master shower smelled like pee and had black mold. My kids feet were black from walking barefoot in the house. Those were my only complaint. The app wasn't working so good, maybe the Microsoft system being down. The house was fully stocked with usable items like paper towels, trash bags, and pots, pans, and things like that. During checkout it my family and I were confused with the instructions, although they really easy and not difficult to do, the confusion came from along he posted signs saying the process was different. The house was very spacious, a lot of room for everyone online about. Says it's good for 12 but so much extra space we could have really had 18 people stay. The location was ok, about 10 or so minutes from Tahoe city, and a few more to Lake Tahoe, ##### John H.
