Check in was seamless. Even though there was construction on the property, the staff parked our car and brought the luggage to our room. The property is beautiful and we had a great view overlooking the ocean. There is easy access to the beach and it is definitely worth your while to see the cliffs and walk along the beach. The room is very nice and clean. The cons were; when we went to the bar for a drink, and we were the only ones there, we were enjoying our glass of wine and watching and listening to music videos when the bartender abruptly changed the channel and started watching a movie. Secondly, our check in amenities included the spa, however, it was actually limited spa access. The indoor pool, dry sauna and steam sauna was an upcharge (called the aqua zone). We did pay the upcharge but when we entered the aqua zone, being the only ones there, there were used towels on the loungers, the water urns were empty and we had to go to another room to bring back clean towels to lie on. Later that day we went to the buffet and we were greeted by a lady who was very excited to show us the buffet. We weren’t that hungry, but we thought, how much can a buffet be. Well, we found out later that the buffet was $48.00 euro per person and it was what I would describe as being “okay”. We completely felt that it was a gotcha moment. Staff said we should have been informed. etc., etc. etc!!!
