When I pulled up to the gate, the security approached my vehicle, I told him I have a reservation. He checked the book and said to me that my name is not there. He asked if I have an email I said, I don’t have the email, he then said, “yuh neva mek no reservation” I said, “excuse me, wey yuh say?” He repeated, “yuh neva mek no reservation!” So, I said to him, say you don’t see it in the book but don’t tell me that I didn’t make a reservation, you can’t tell me what I did or didn’t do. He kept on going on, saying I didn’t make a reservation. Then he walked away back in the booth, he let a car out and did not return to assist me. I called him back out of the security hut and told him that I did make a reservation and it’s not his place to say what I did or didn’t do. I went into my phone and e-mail history to see if there’s an email record of my reservation. I did find an email and showed it to him, so I stated, “I didn’t make a reservation, right?” He continued on to say, “yo yuh chat too much!” I said, “you have nothing about you” He retorted by saying, “yuh nuh have Nuttin bout YOU!”
Is that how you have your security guards treating your guests? He should be fired for that exchange. He didn’t try to assist by calling the front desk to confirm. He didn’t try to assist in any way shape or form. But he was quite ok with berating me and calling me a liar and names, whilst I’m a paying guest in this establishment. Of which I’ll more than likely won't stay again.
