Other things to note The Red Tape: We want you to enjoy your time in this home but do not put our rental permit at risk. Quiet time is 9pm-10am. \-We do not send maintenance to the property during your stay. Only after you depart. \-The house is in the woods. You will likely see and hear critters. Mountain animals can rarely be seen (deer, bears and mountain lions). Food should not be left in the cars or outdoor spaces. If you see a bear during your stay whether in the park or in the driveway do not feed it. Stay away from it. Bears are RARE! \-Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 10 (includes kids ages 5 and up). Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy will result in loss of the security deposit. \- This is a non-smoking property. If you smoke inside the home you will lose the security deposit and will be charged additional cleaning fee and any additional damages. \- The hot tub and sauna is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK and is for guests 25 and over only. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or if you are pregnant. The hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries that result from either of these amenities. Guests are to use their best judgment when using the amenities. \- The property is not child proof and the hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries incurred during the stay. \- No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $200 dollars. \- Pets are not allowed. You will be charged the security deposit if you bring a pet. \- Absolutely no fires or open flames of any kind including candles. The use of a candle or any type of flame will result in loss of security deposit. Security and smart home devices: \- 4 Ring security cameras that monitors all the outdoor entrances to the property (i.e., front door, deck, and backyard) for our guests' safety. The security cameras are not constantly recording and will only record once there is excessive motion. If you touch or tamper with the cameras you will be lose the security deposit. This is for your protection! \- The indoor temperature can be controlled via a Nest Thermostat. \-There is an indoor and outdoor NoiseAware monitor which does not record sound/audio, but tracks how loud the general environment is and will immediately alert the host if there is a violation of the noise policy. We live in a very family friendly neighborhood with elderly residents and children who we respect very much. Guests will only be provided one warning of excessive noise. Host was very reponsive and answered any and all questions/concerns very quickly. Our biggest disappointment was that cornhole was broken. Fortunately, that was a tiny disappointment. Only thing I would point out to future guests is to be mindful of fourth bedroom being locked off from main house. It is attached and there is actually a window between room and kitchen that can be opened (curtains or window) if desired. The only issue would be if the guest took issue with having to "come inside" in middle of night to use the bathroom or such. The lock off is mentioned in listing and turned out not to be a problem for us, but it worth noting if it does not work for your group. ##### Carolyn V. House was completely remodeled and so beautiful. Very roomy, comfortable beds, and cool AC! It was so quiet, and the view is beautiful. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the stars. Oakhurst is a cute little town with several good restaurant choices, and the drive to Yosemite is about 30 minutes. It had a very modern and inviting feel to it. We were a group of 8, mainly adults and elderly but had a school age child with us. We were there for a vacation to Yosemite. It was tricky finding a place that would meet the distance requirement but would also be a comfortable and pleasant experience when we were resting. This place met those requirements. We enjoyed all the games that were in the home as they helped create a very lively environment when the family wanted to relax. The scenery from the porch was picturesque. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. Natalie was responsive in our queries, even late at night. Overall we had a great time both at Yosemite and at our accommodation. After a long day hiking everyone was ready to return to the house to relax. Thank you for everything Natalie!!!
