The location of this house made it easy to access the various parts of the park. It was a short drive to most of our activities and nice to have a grocery store nearby. We went to Winterplace and had some winter fun, saw lots of places in the New River Gorge National Park...the Bridge, Thurmond, Grandview, Cathedral Falls. Considering the spread out nature of the gorge, this was the perfect middle spot. The home is adorable. Check in was super easy, host was very easy to communicate with. We booked pretty past minute and I was having trouble getting the app to work to send messages. She went out of her way to make sure I had all the info I needed. The place has plenty of blankets, sheets, towels, toiletries, cooking utensils, pans, etc. I love this area and would absolutely stay at Penelope's Place again. ##### Daniel D. We were very pleased with how clean and comfortable the house was. It is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The neighbors we encountered were friendly.
