"I needed a last-minute economical room to stay in before my son's MTB race in Steamboat. The John Denver theme room looked "interesting" and was the only one available. Last minute my younger daughter decided to come also. I brought a foam mattress and sleeping bag for her. Kids were sort of skeptical when we parked (they need a better parking lot light, btw). "A lot of money for a speedy motel. If this was $60 a night it would be fair but more then $100 definitely is not. I at least expect a pillow that can be slept on and some travel size soap for gods sake. Walls are graffitied, smells like cigarettes, hand soap dispenser in the shower for soap, not cleaned at all, the lumpiest pillow ive ever seen"

"This hotel is a bit quirky, but nicely updated while keeping a bit of a nod to the past. I like the color choices they used to update the outside of this 70's looking building. The room was clean and quiet with good views, and the beds are super comfy. The large back yard area near the pool and gym is a nice level place to play or relax without feeling encroached upon by neighboring properties like other resorts. It is not a posh resort, but a pleasant place to stay especially for the price. "
