« The food was some of the best we have ever eaten - delicious and freshly made. The room however was disappointing- clearly see some improvements but masking tape around the towel rail - holes in the wall in bathroom and bathroom door handle broken - cleanliness could have been better - toilet lid and seat had dirt in it and the ledge under the towel rail was full of dust and hairs - towels provided had stains on and holes in them - can’t complain regards to staff and service and the food all...

« Lovely property. Very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable, clean room with tea, coffee etc, fridge and microwave. Let down by the bathroom - a poor design - the floor flooded each time we used the shower, no matter how careful we were. ( Nothing the owners could do about this, but unfortunately we were woken at 5.30am each morning by the early risers with heavy feet in the room above ours. We’d ask for an upstairs room if we stayed again). »

« Overall a lovely stay, fantastic spot right on the river front. Large family room was great and very spacious but could have been cleaner, lots of dust & cobwebs! Food was absolutely fantastic, we ate in the restaurant 3 evenings and every meal was excellent. We were well looked after and the staff were brilliant. Would recommend. »

« The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences. »

« This is a lovely property on the edge of the Broads. It was very clean and comfortable, and well equipped, and the host was very helpful. There is easy access to Norwich and the coast, and some lovely walks into the Broads from the doorstep. There isn't a shop in the village, but Acle is less than 10 minutes drive and has a small supermarket, pubs and takeaways. The big supermarkets in Great Yarmouth are only 15 minutes away. »

« Beautiful hotel. Clearly a labour of love and wonderful to stay in a building with local history. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre. Lots of great food and drink options nearby. »

« Hotel fantôme personne pour nous accueillir même pendant notre séjour nous avons du même appeler hotel.com a nous arriver car nous avons patienter plus 1 heures sur le parking car les chambres sont equipes de serrure a code (qui ne nous avait pas été communiquer et impossible a devinez a notre arriver si vous n avez pas accueil ) menage fait les deux premier jours mais par contre rien de fait le dernier jour même pas de cafe Remis ni les poubelles de vide ... dommage car hotel tres calme et...
