Great place to stay. Lovely welcome to a property that we found perfect. We really appreciated the help with the puncture too.
Easy access for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular from here.
We had an event at Snetterton and needed somewhere to stay overnight. It was a last minute booking, and what a gem. On arrival we knocked on the door and rang the mobile numbers listed, all had no reply. However there was the details of the local pub, so it did not take too much persuading to do the short walk to this establishment and there we found our host. After a few simple instructions and a guide to the local town, we were fed, watered and settled down for a very comfortable quiet nights stay. Nice compact accommodation with all the necessities. Clearly thoroughly cleaned. Quiet location minutes walk from the main town, highly recommended!

Good location but over priced for what you get.
Full marks for location, ease of check-in, cleanliness.
The grounds are nicely kept with the fountain garden out at the front and the courtyard (where the apartments are).
We felt £260 + £10 parking for two nights was overpriced for the facilities provided. Sold as self-catering apartments; but neither a grill nor oven was provided. The apartment does have a microwave and hobs. So, we had to eat out and have a continental breakfast. The shower wasn't great either as it was connected to the bath tap via a flex. We also felt the parking charge, to park on the driveway of the main house, was unfair, most hotels that are not in city centres wouldn’t charge for parking. Though I understand had we booked direct this would have been waived. If we visited the area again, we would choose a hotel.
Superb location from which to visit the North Norfolk coastal resorts; Sheringham, Wells-Next-The-Sea, Cromer etc. Likewise, a good base to explore Norwich. Good location in Dereham to walk into the town for something to eat/ drink.
We stayed in Annex B of Glendower apartments...its bright airy and roomy! The open plan living area opens up onto beautiful gardens with patio doors. Was lovely sitting there with coffee in the morning! Bedrooms are large, just be careful going up to the mezzanine, theres a low beam! Would definitely return.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Checkin was super easy and the apartment had everything needed for the stay with great parking.
Very close walk to the town centre for food would definitely stay again.
Booked this as I was working in the local area. apartment was lovely with everything I needed for an overnight stay and close to the town centre to nip out and get something for dinner.
Definitely would go back
When you travel for work as much as I do its the little things that you miss - cooking for yourself, watching TV on a proper sofa, having private outside space, going up some stairs to bed. The Glendower has all these & more, it really felt like a home away from home.
The living room / kitchen had a cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, ironing board & iron, TV, 2 seater sofa, coffee table & patio door on to a private garden. Upstairs was a very comfy double bed & bathroom.
The welcome was warm & check in was easy. Location was great - 2 minutes walk from centre of town but nice & quiet.
All in all much better than expected & great value for money.

Well positioned, comfortable stay in Dereham
Lovely place. Too much furniture in the bedroom including a folding kitchen table that rattled each time you walked past it. Too many paintings. Was it trying to sell art? Kitchen next to bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Layout just bizarre. Would have much preferred bathroom en suite/adjacent to main bedroom.
Just a one night stop on a working trip. Easy to find, good parking, friendly owners, lovely little apartment. Would definitely recommend and use again.
The accommodation was split over two floors with the twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen and double bedroom ( with dining table and chairs) was upstairs. Everything was clean and tidy and benefited from little homely touches like tea bags, washing up liquid and shower gel etc.. The building is a converted Coach House and divided up into 6 apartments. The rooms are small and have character although not really suited if you have young children or mobility issues. Wi Fi was very good and ample off street parking . Steve the host was very accommodating and all in all fine for a nights stay . I think you may struggle with more than a couple nights especially as we were a family of 4.Overall the experience was good for one night away.
