Cozy little cabin-style stay with multiple rooms and common areas inside and out. We'll maintainedOutdoor patio with firepit, indoor kitchenette, cable and wifi. Very helpful and accommodating host. Very short stroll to local restaurants, cafes and attractions which are totally worth visiting.

The entire area is under construction including the parking for the hotel. Despite this, they were still charging $30 per day to park, and everyone had to park in an unsecured parking lot across the street. Parking should've been waived. Additionally, the rooms were very dated, but clean. There was no fan in the washroom which created a lot of condensation even with a warm shower. On our first night, we were woken before 8 AM by construction inside the hotel in a neighboring room. The hotel was nowhere near at capacity so there was no excuse to be booking people right next to rooms under renovation. Ridiculous. The area of the hotel is riddled with drug addicts and homeless, which I know is not controlled by the hotel, and is sad… But there was no security anywhere and when traveling with kids and attempting to walk to nearby restaurants, it was concerning. The construction around the hotel with one-way street also made it very difficult to access easily. Staff was friendly enough.

I have mixed reviews, however, overall our stay was good. The hotel is a cute boutique style which I love. The room is spacious and the shower is excellent. It was definitely one of the hottest and humid weeks of summer stressing the air con and it was pretty warm in our room. The staff rectified by bringing us a fan which helped a lot and we really appreciated. I prefer a flat fluffy pillow but these ones were a little large and firm and not as comfy for me. Linens were fine as well as the mattress. I like that there is complimentary water and juices and tea/coffee along with a candy bar. Fridge and coffee maker in the room are also convenient. The location is conveniently downtown. Beware if you have a car. Parking is available but costs extra and no in/out privileges. Can add up if you’re aren’t lucky enough to score free parking just outside the hotel in front of the terrific farmers market.

The pool needs a really good cleaning. Staff was great, room was great. We will definitely be back 😊
