" 04/26/26- 04/28/26 Check in was easy. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The parking lot was being cleaned as we pulled in so that was a plus. The property has an esthetic that matches the whole vibe of Helen. Parking lot was very well lit at night for security reasons which is cool. Rooms were updated and very clean. Nice size flat screen tv with remote worked just fine. Coffee is provided in the rooms along with soaps and lotions. Beds were soft and comfortable. Free continental breakfast consisted of sausage biscuits, cereal, coffee, milk, grits, oatmeal, and juices. Offers ice machine on first floor. Washing machine and dryer offered for a fee. It's in a quiter part of town so traffic isn't as bad. Welcome center and veterans park is across the street so its a nice 3 minute walk to that. Tons of restaurants near by so location is really great. Stores are across the parking lot. I would stay again. Thanks for having us! "

"The room was tidy, but not clean by any means. There was a moldy shower head and black spots on the wall above the shower. The air conditioner in the room clearly had not had a filter change any time recently. There was trash spilling out of the cans outside around the property. The vending machines down the hall were on planks of wood and not operational. There were no USB ports at all (we had to go buy a charging block because I have been in a hotel without ports in several years, just wasn't expecting that) No one was at the front desk for checkout so we left the key on the desk and left. It might seem cute and quaint from the outside, but this hotel is one of the saddest I've seen."

"Amazing experience overall. The desk worker, he was amazingly nice and kind! The breakfast was spectacular for a free breakfast. A few cleaning issues, but nothing even worth mentioning. I would 100% stay here again. The location to walking downtown is phenomenal!"

"I was told there was not a room downstairs I’ll be and I am handicap. There seem to be ample parking. The bathtub I found hair from a previous resident. There was no bathmat in the bathtub very slippery. If you’re handicap, this is not the Hotel for you. The continental breakfast was pedestrian at best."

"Room was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty of it. Will definitely stay there again."

"There were not very many units rented in so instead of the full menu, they went to a buffet which we didn’t like."
