Buckhead Lodge - Tri-Level Cabin with Mountain Views

This warm and cozy wood cabin is located on a private paved road with 3 acres of land and 1-1/2 more acres across the road. The mountain views can be enjoyed from either of the two decks or from the brand new hot tub located on the covered patio.

Buckhead Lodge provides a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, waffle iron, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Just bring the groceries!

This luxury cabin also boasts of a beautiful gas log fireplace, a Smart TV, hot tub and a pool table. Take a trip back in time with the Packman arcade game in the billiard room. It contains 5 other favorite games!

The bedrooms are located on the top level. The master bedroom features a king bed and the guest bedroom a queen. The full bath is shared by both bedrooms. For additional guests, the sofa in the downstairs game room pulls out to a queen size bed.

Outside you will find a a brand new hot tub, gas grill, rocking chairs, fire-pit, and swings. All from which you can behold incredible views of the North Georgia Mountains. If you choose to venture out from your cabin, the quaint Bavarian-style town of Helen is just 10 minutes away.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Buckhead Lodge is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
• Access: The roads and the driveway are paved.
• Pets: Buckhead Lodge is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: 10.5 miles to downtown Helen.

Rodent Infestation Never Addressed

Stayed for 4 nights. We saw mice in the cabin 4 separate instances. Contacted the office the next day, they changed the sheets the second day, then never returned our calls or set any traps to remove the infestation. Images below are all the droppings found around the cabin. We had a toddler crawling on the floors with all the droppings. Mice were seen on 2 different floors.The cabin itself was nice and location very good. Aside from the lack of response and mice, we liked the cabin. However, I would not return and cannot recommend. I can understand this can happen in a cabin, but being left without correction was not expected.

Great Amenities

Beautiful scenery from three deck levels. YouTube TV was provided free. The hot tub is practically new. The pool table was a great source of entertainment. There are plentiful books to satisfy a variety of interests. The in-cabin washer/dryer was very convenient. They even provided soaps for kitchen, laundry, and baths. The folks at Georgia Mountain Rentals were very responsive and helpful. This was our second time staying at this cabin. We had a great time!

Perfect weekend getaway

The cabin was exactly what we wanted with the gorgeous views, deer everywhere, hot tub, pool table … it was perfect! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back

Wonderful experience

My family and i enjoyed the cabin so very much. It was beautiful with a gorgeous view. Deer and wild life came to visit in the yard. It was nice and quiet. Had a fun time ringing in my partners 40th birthday. Close to everything. Overall best rental experience. I will be coming back in the future with my family again. Thank you to the property management for checking up on us shortly after our arrival. The person I spoke with was very nice and professional.

Great for families!

The road to the cabin is paved witch made it easier to drive up the hill. Very beautiful, clean, and inviting. The beds are comfortable and the cabin temperature is perfect. Definitely recommend for families with children. They will love the entertainment room.

The property was exactly as described. Clean and quiet. The game room downstairs was fully equipped with a variety of board games, pool table and Pac-Man. The jacuzzi was just what was needed after our long ride. The road to the driveway was not in good condition. But I would still recommend this rental.

Beautiful views! Tranquil location.

Property is exactly as pictured. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Kids had a great time playing pool, pac man, and using the hot tub. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The road up to the cabin is rough so I am glad I drove an SUV don't know that I would drive a car up it but someone staying at another cabin up the road did.

Great stay

The property was clean and beautiful. The hot tub didn’t give us any issues and was the main pleasure of our stay. The only recommendation I give is to provide air fresher or candles in the home and there wasn’t a shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. Also, we played pool a lot but there are a lot of angles where you cannot hit the ball correctly because of the inside wall.

Nice place will be back

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was really nice - the only thing that I would change would be add blinds/curtains on the big window in the guest bedroom and replace the squeaky ceiling fan. We also followed the GPS with no issues at all. Thanks.
