The house was in a great location, walkable to parks, Firefly Distillery, Holy City Brewing, and even the Park Circle district full of restaurants and fun places to hang out. If you're a light sleeper the trains nearby might wake you up, but my wife did not notice them. Otherwise the neighborhood is nice and quiet and well shaded, perfect for an afternoon walk. The house is nicely located within reasonable driving distance from everything we wanted to see in Charleston during our stay. Jilayne was incredibly proactive in suggesting placed to eat near by and checked in on us during the stay. She was very fast with communication and check in and out was super easy. The inside is updated and very nice! Beds are super comfy. Backyard was fenced in and had plenty of space for my two youngsters to run around. It is well appointed for a small Vrbo . The kitchen had everything we needed. The backyard is absolutely amazing was perfect for our dog. The location is in a quiet cute little neighborhood. The location of the house was great and provided us an opportunity to check out the area. The host had just what we needed for a one night stay in the area. It accidentally turned out the wedding venue was 2 minutes from our VRBO. Our host was very accommodating and answered any question we had. Great kitchen- pots and pans, stocked with salt and pepper, PAM, etc. New appliances are in the kitchen! Bathroom is decorated in a cute beach vibe. Bedrooms are cozy. Nice outdoor area for a family- though we did not have time to use it. We did enjoy the front porch. At first the area looked a little scary, BUT there are lots of people walking dogs and walking to brewerys and it is a very safe place for a family! We would rent here again.
