Breakfast was not crowded at all, very few people around, very pleasant, river and trees next to windows. Great view of river and mountains from room. Small hotel. Drinks were available all day and evening. Water cooler tanks available on each floor. Very reasonable price for large room."

"The hotel delivered exactly what we were seeking: top end but traditional experience of J. Alps, with gorgeous natural spring baths. Way more than expected, the Kaiseki dinners were outstanding, and staff went over and above to help (we even needed an MD). I would very highly recommend this onsen inn."
