Their free shuttle bus service will take you to the hotel and the station back and forth (15 mins ride). The room was nice, staff super nice, the breakfast is super wonderful and they even gave us some free drink (beer or juice) and free snack (small ramen or ice cream) in the evening! Their SPA bath was very nice and provides such tranquillity in the outdoor bath overlooking the river!! This beautiful hotel is near a quiet shrine. It is a fair walk from Takayama, bit there is a free shuttle that runs between Takayama Station (Tabino Hotel Satellite, across the street) and the hotel in the morning and afternoon/evening. They provide pajamas, slippers, and yukata for wearing in the hotel and going to the onsen baths. (Tattoos OK!)
