Beach Front on the Bay Come back in time to 1945 and enjoy our Beach front home. This little bungalow is one of the older surviving homes from a day gone by! The beach is just a 20 second walk from the back door. \*\*The space\*\* \* Three bedrooms - 2 with Queen Beds and a third with two Twin Beds. \* 75" Smart TV for which you can stream your own service, along with high speed Wi-Fi for all your entertainment needs. \* Pet friendly (as is the beach), and parking is right outside your door. \* A backyard fire pit where you can sit outside and enjoy a campfire! (BYOW) \* Central Heat/AC \* Washer/Dryer Built in 1945 this beach front cottage sits directly on the beautiful beach of the Chesapeake Bay. It features 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. We have all the amenities that will allow you and your family to enjoy the beach and create wonderful memories. We are Pet Friendly with hardwood floors throughout the home. With the original hardwood floors throughout the home clean up is a Breeze - Both for the little two legged ones and the 4 Legged ones! Our private driveway will allow for 2 vehicles to park just outside your door. In the living room is a 75" Large Smart TV along with High Speed Wi-Fi for your streaming tv entertainment. We also have a washer/dryer for your convenience. For safety, we are equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher. Our back deck allows for a wonderful place to relax as we have a patio table and 4 Chairs. In the back yard, we have a fire pit for you to make a campfire and roast hot dogs or make "S'mores" for the kids. Also on the deck is the Charcoal Webber grill for your outdoor dining pleasure. Our fully fenced in yard is just behind a beautiful protective dune and parking is right outside your door. This is a residential area with neighbors not far away. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. As this is a Family/Residential unit and area, we do not allow for loud music or noise. There is another unit carved out of the attic. Each unit has its own entrance and exit, only the parking area, backyard and beach access is shared. Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 90 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. Our bathroom is not as large as modern built, but even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home. All systems and appliances work as they should. This is a vintage cottage on the bay that exhibits the historical architecture and features of yesterday. Please keep in mind that this older home may not be for everyone. We do strive to make these older homes as comfortable, clean and cozy. However it is not perfect in every way - some floors are not perfectly level, some windows do not open easily, interior doors and locks are a bit older - if these items are important to you, maybe another unit would be more suitable. That being said, our location can not be beat! Pet Fee is $99 per pet and per stay plus tax and processing fees. If not disclosed prior to your stay, the pet fee is $300 Pets must be house trained and stay off of bedding and furniture An Extra Cleaning fee of $99 will be charged to remove pet hair from bedding or furniture Extra Charges: Early Check-In for 1 PM - $75 (if available) Late Check-Out at 1 PM - $75 (if available) Normal Check Out is 10 AM. A fee of $45 per hour is charged beginning at 10:05 AM Cleaners are on a schedule and can not be kept waiting! This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise. Steps away from the beach made this stay fantastic. On the down side- the deck is in unsafe condition as the planks are buckling and causes major tripping hazard. Outside furniture is really rusted and one chair fell apart when sat in. There was an end table put in the kitchen ( no sure why as it clearly did not belong in kitchen) made sitting at the table tight. ##### Donnajean L. Back deck boards coming family member ripped skin near toenail bleeding had to put stabled on it and bandaids. No back lighting on back porch bathroom outdated rusted floor vents and caulking around tub it is only super hot water in shower or cold. Bedroom door hinge hanging offf sliding glass door in bedroom does not shut properly. In dinning room area vent held up by dinning room table paint peeling off cabinets.
