"I was a little surprised by the reviews vs my own experience. The one thing I was super happy about was proximity to the airport. The rooms are nice and very spacious; however a couple things that turned me off quite a bit. 1) breakfast being $7 a day per person is absolutely wild. Also- the Expedia website (where I booked) states breakfast is included for up to four people. Add to that- they charge $5 a day for parking. The hotel, charges YOU to park where you PAID for a room. Guys, nickel and diming after we are already spending $150 a night? Gross. Greedy. Needless to say I didn’t eat their breakfast so can’t comment on that. But if you’re gonna boast about your breakfast- make it included. That’s so tacky. Last thing, my room was cleaned once in 4 days. Fine whatever, but, at least sweep or vacuum? Sand and hair were everywhere. I had to clean up the floor myself at least twice. I was also hoping I’d sleep well with the sign asking people to be quiet after 10- no such luck there either."

"Great location on beach with convenient lounge chairs and umbrellas. Kids also loved the new pool. Many restaurants within walking distance but they get crowded. Our 2nd visit there and will be back in future."

"Rooms still reeked of cigarette smoke, even though they are 100% against it. Whatever place this was before them clearly allowed smoking in the rooms. You know how putrid that can be, once a room is smoked in, it'll never be the same. Room keys unprogrammed themselves every morning so we had to go back to the front desk to have them programmed again. Very inconvenient. Shower was sufficient, water flow was strong! Nice surprise. Bed was TOO SOFT. Very plush and uncomfy. Can feel where other's have slept in because there were springs that were obviously too compressed. Barely slept. The Tiki bar was cute, small area, but the patio where the entertainment is was fairly large. Good selection of drinks! Bartenders were fun and personable. Just remember, you're on camera at the bar so behave yourselves! Overall, decent place, great price."

"A would love to say our stay was terrible to keep this hidden gem to ourselves but can not lie Hotel was one of the nicest cleanest quiet facilities I have ever stayed Every one of the staff was absolutely great and plan on utilizing as a long term stay option is in the hub of everything"

"Very happy to have stayed here for the first time. Rooms and property were clean and well maintained. Staff were all amazing and helpful. Breakfast was very good with many options. Pool area was clean and the location was perfect."

"The resort has a very nice quaint and cozy feel to it. We stayed in the beachfront rooms. When we checked in the room was full of love bugs. Not necessarily the fault of management as the love bugs just plumed unexpectedly in the region however, a window was left cracked open and they came into the room. between us and a maid we got them out. My main complaint is I paid way too much for the beachfront room upgrade. I expected more from a room at that price. There is no table, one very uncomfortable chair and a mattress that was nothing special. The staff were exceptional and the facilities were very clean. The location is excellent. I highly recommend the place. I don't recommend the exceptionally high price for the room upgrade as it is not worth it."
