"It’s very small, but I guess a lot of places are like this in Japan. I wouldn’t recommend staying for too long especially if you are 2 people, you feel stuck. Was a bit pricy for what it was. No complaints about the hosts, good communication. The place was clean too."

"This house is fine for older children and adults. Young children need to be monitored to ensure they don’t fall through the bannister or down the steep, dark, sharp-edged stairs. Also, showers are challenging for very young children. On the other hand, there is a nice play ground just around the corner for little ones. The ground floor has a toilet, but no shower, the top floor only has a shower, but no toilet or sink."

"We enjoyed our stay-all the comforts of home were included. We had one elderly but healthy family member with us. Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. Other than that, the place was clean, convenient, quiet, and great for our stay in Japan. "

"This is an excellent location in Asakusa, there is a Uniqlo and restaurants locayed on floors 1-4, and the hotel lobby on floor 5, there is a Donki next door, and and so much other shopping all within a short walk from the hotel, there were street performers on the weekend and the streets were alive with activity, but nothing crazy all very family friendly. Also very close to the subway line, we will stay here again when we come back. I will say the rooms are small, but I understand most hotels are like this, I will say the hotel is clean with a buffet breakfast which includes American and Japanese breakfast staples, buffet is available for a fee, it was good and convenient. "

"Hotel Niwa was fantastic ! We stayed there twice on our trip and both times had a v enjoyable stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms v clean and comfortable and The massage chairs a god send when you’re walking 6 miles a day around Tokyo . The area is also nice and quiet and it was v easy to get round the city from Suidobashi station which was a 3min walk away . We will definitely come back to this lovely hotel on our next trip.. Arigato gozaimasu Hotel Niwa ! "

"Love this hotel!! Quiet neighborhood and 1 block from Shiomi Station. Room was spacious and very comfortable. They offered complimentary water every day of our stay. Also, the area for the bathroom was great with separate amenities, such independent toilet room, shower and sink providing privacy. Breakfast buffet was great with several options. Although we did not include it when making the booking we paid at the hotel approximately $25/person but It was worth it. In addition they have a convenience store (Family Mart) at the hotel, with everything on hand from personal care, snacks, drinks to the popular pre packed Japanese meals to go. Love the hotel and definitely recommend it. We had a very pleasant stay."

"This place was incredible! It was super convenient, right next to different transportation lines. It was like a central hub, making it easy to get to everything I wanted to see. In addition to that, the food options and staff were great. I’d recommend checking out Midtown BBQ too. It’s right next door. Don’t let the quiet building nextdoor fool you. There’s a 711 there open 24 hours a day. Same building as the bbq. "
