"We rented this vacation home for a mini-family reunion/celebration of life & internment for my Grandma at the family cemetery in Upper Lake. There were six of us with the rest of the family (16 people) right down the road in two more vacation homes. We were glad to be at the Sunset Beach House as its location is wonderful, private, and quiet with lake views. There is a private dock, kayak and canoe available for use. The house is well-appointed and spacious. The fully fenced backyard has horseshoes and a fire pit! We enjoyed making meals each day and playing cards and games around the large kitchen table. We liked our time so much, we are planning our next trip here! Susan, our host, was kind and informative - and just happened to meet us when we arrived to ensure the oven racks were clean - thanks, Susan!"

"There were a lot to f bugs flying around the outside light, next to an unworking bug zapper. You could not open the door w/out a bunch flying in."

"The setting on the lake were incredible, the rooms are pretty tired, and could use updating. They front desk lady gave me an upgrade which was very good. The front desk lady also charged me $4 extra because she said expedia doesnt pay their fees, not sure what that was all about but have never run into that issue before. "

"I asked to change the bed sheets as soon as I arrived because there was multiple hairs all over bedding they came to change them and those had same issue I had to wait for them to be changed 3 times I asked for a superviser to give me a discount because of the inconvenience and he told me no the couches had white all over them like if a male put his sperm there it was so disgusting I even asked to change rooms and they said they couldn’t it was so horrible and upsetting that I drove 9 hours and had to come to this and no one even was able to accommodate me"
