"This was my family's seventh time at Pelican Point. We obviously love this place and for many reasons! Everything starts and ends with the view - it honestly doesn't really feel like Texas when you're there. The enormous windows that overlook Lake Palestine will draw your attention for your entire visit. It's so much fun to watch kids playing in the lake or swimming or running around the massive yard or just admiring the gorgeous lake. If you are blessed with a good sunrise, it is absolutely breathtaking. The house itself is incredible. The wood floors are to die for and the craftsmanship throughout is second to none. There is lots of rooms for sleeping and plenty of areas to have family gatherings and to eat meals. The kitchen is also incredible and my wife and I actually enjoy cooking there. Another great point about this property is the owner takes great care and invests back into it. Many places we visit are dilapidated or in need of work, but every year we come back, Bill has purchased something new or replaced something to make it better. He is very accommodating and also responds promptly to any inquiries. The property manager is also nearby and responds to any needs you might have during your stay. I could go on, but there is a 1500 word limit here. Needless to say, we will be back - my family doesn't want to go anywhere else! If you're looking for a wonderful spot to spend time with friends or family with lots of amenities and beauty, this is the place to go!"
