New Orleans with family

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Very nice hotel close to the French Quarter but far enough away to be quiet. Short walk or take the street car to downtown and Bourbon Street. Parking our car was made very easy by a great valet staff. Breakfast options are somewhat limited by it was hot with plenty of the basic menu items. Rooms are priced right as well. I highly recommend this hotel for a weekend trip.

Saved me at the last minute

Posted 24-Jul-2016
I had purchased a"secret" Groupon for overnight stay in New Orleans (WILL NEVER, EVER DO THAT AGAIN). The room so horrible that I didn't care that I had to pay for another room. Went on Expedia and searched by ratings and found the Drury Inn. Price was reasonable and had availability. Always had good experiences with Drury and needless to say, I had a good experience again. The staff was friendly, courteous, and fast. I was so happy to see my clean fresh room.

Convenient to Sights

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
Location: Restaurants was in walking distance along with the clubs, night life
This was a family vacation, first visit to New ORLEANS and it was exciting. We had a wonderful time. My grandkids was very exciting about the tours we went on and excited about riding the trolley. Straying the Drury Hotel was convenient to various restaurants and clubs in the area.

Great hotel walking distance to French Quarters

Posted 16-Jul-2016
Pros: I liked the breakfast and dinner that was provided, the help in recommending places to get the best food. The willingness to make sure we were happy.
Cons: Letting us know that parking is $28 per night plus a lot of taxes...comes to like $35 a night. That was an eye opener. Expedia did not mention that.
Location: Walking distance to the French Quarter. Couldn't be better. Far enough to not hear all the noise, but 4 blocks and you're there.
Founds out we had an all out buffet breakfast each morning included, which was awesome. Also they have a 5:30 - 7:00 Get Together which was 3 adult drinks per person and hot food! Like hot dogs, chili, chicken strips, baked potatoes and all the fixings, salads, macaroni and cheese...it was great! Every night! Kids were welcome of course and there was soda, milk, juice for them. Very pleased. Staff was very helpful finding local hot spots for certain foods, even provided me an umbrella one night. Great place to stay.

One big problem - the elevators. My wife got stuck on the 8th floor and could not open the elevator door. Almost ruined the trip - but at least this day.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast and evening reception were wonderful, and the room was clean/comfortable. A great home-away-from-home where you can expect to be pampered!

A really nice hotel convenient to restaurants and

This is a great moderately priced hotel away from the noise of the French Quarter but still close enough to walk to if you want to go there. The area has a lot of great restaurants. The free WiFi was appreciated as was the breakfast.
