We were certainly amazed!

Posted 12-Feb-2017
Pros: Kickback, bed, and close to hop on hop off bus.
Cons: Nothing
Four of us stayed in a room while visiting New Orleans. It was clean, nice shower and comfortable beds! We had a great breakfast and in the evening was a Kickback which we thought would be one drink with a few snacks. Well, it was like dinner! We had baked potatoes, chicken, penne, hot dogs, salad with all toppings, tortilla chips with cheese and salsa, pop, milk, juice AND THREE drinks! Wow, it was hard liquor, too, not just beer and wine! I asked the gal at front desk if she had a lost and found as I lost the back of one earring. What did she do?.. She took off the back of her earring and gave it to me!! Great location as a hop on hop off bus was right in front. We had a great time! Thank you Drury staff!

Great amenities

Posted 7-Feb-2017
We were in town for the NOLA Marathon and this hotel was a perfect fit. Only 2 blocks from the start line and 4 blocks from the French Quarter. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and we loved the access to free drinks and snacks throughout the day. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in New Orleans downtown area

Posted 31-Jan-2017
Pros: location, comfort, free food and drinks
Cons: some décor in the room needs to be repaired or renewed
Location: Bars, restaurants, gulf view, casino
We booked this hotel just for 1 night due to previous airbnb experience failed and we needed to find a place to stay the last night in New Orleans. We travel with our dogs very often and Drury Inn has been a preferred place for us. This Drury Inn's location is very good, just along with other luxury hotels in the commercial/business area. The staff was really nice and they welcomed us and our dogs with whole heart. The public area including lobby and dining area is very spacious. The best part is that they offer breakfast, snack/cocktail time, and dinner; all included in your room rate. The food quality of course is the top quality you can get but it's satisfactory enough. You also can get soda and water from the drink machine at the lobby 24 hour. Room is spacious, clean and comfy; nothing to complain. The only downside is that there's only valet parking and it costs $28 a day. But it's a fair price in the downtown area, and the service is nice enough to compensate it. Overall, it's a great place to stay in New Orleans with fair rate. We highly recommend it to anyone

A great base to experience this vibrant city.

Posted 26-Jan-2017
Pros: Clean, well appointed, with morning meals available. Classy but not flamboyant. Helpful, friendly staff.
Cons: Given our low key approach, it was perfect.
Location: Six blocks from the river, Bourbon St., WWII Museum
This was our first visit to New Orleans. We wanted close access to the night life and history of the city without being right in the middle of it. We planned walking trips to three major areas. The Drury was close to all and provided a solid and comfortable base at a very attractive price.

Excellent hotel

Très belles installations, excellent service (déjeuner, et repas légers le soir, avec 3 consommations inclus). Chambres près de la rue un peu bruyantes.

Tired and hungry upon arrival . Disappointed in lack of restaurants and necessities. The cost was expensive.

Close to Bourbon Street and Easy Walk from Cruise

Posted 11-Jan-2017
Safe hotel with secure elevators (although we were harassed/followed by scammers walking back, but this appears to be normal in NOLA); fantastic evening activity/snacks; easy to walk around entire town from the location. Easy walk from cruise port.

No tuvimos que sacar el auto en los 4 dias alli. Caminamos al Smoothie King Arena y al Mercedes Benz Superdome para los partidos y a Bourbon St., Los Outlets, Jackson Square (Cafe Du Mond) también..

In the heart of the Big Easy!!

Posted 19-Dec-2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: Later hours for pool, especially on the weekend and add a pool heater for the water!
Location: Halfway between the French Quarter/ Riverside and the SuperDome, perfect location to catch a streetcar and see the sights!
The best value for your stay, hot breakfast and evening sandwiches, entree, drinks also, trolley cars right out the door to sightsee all that New Orleans has to offer! The staff was friendly, knowledable and professional.
