best hotel for price

Posted 3-Dec-2016
Pros: Suite, breakfast and happy hour
Location: close walking distance to the main attractions in New Orleans
this hotel lived up to the reviews....a real breakfast and real happy hour...I honestly didnt need to waste money going out and by food because the hotel supplied so much to eat. the suite was like one bedroom apartment. The staff was so courtesy and kind. The gym facility was standard and sufficient, pool and hot tub were nice and secluded. Not only would I stay here again I would stay at another location if I travel anywhere else

Pros: its in a good location..serving 2 meals a day sure helps if u r on a budget..and we had a very nice behind the desk lady.shes a keeper..
Cons: our bedroom carpet needed cleaning..
Location: location was great..hop on hop off bus u can catch right across the street..bourbon street is a straight shot across the street..
We really enjoyed our first stay so when we were going back to NewOrleans my husband wanted this hotel again..Front desk staff was just so friendly..breakfast was good..was nice they finally added an acturl evening dinner / free drinks..although we r not big drinkers it was a nice touch..rooms were clean and I loved the shower head..only thing I noticed is the carpets needed cleaning..but the hotel in all was very nice..

good location

Posted 16-Nov-2016
Pros: close to everything
Cons: decorate lobby, make more warm feel in all hotel.
Location: close to french quarter and dome
hotel very close to french quarter without the noise. lacking in details, such as flowers etc and free breakfast pretty basic, usual scrambled eggs and sausage patties, but fresh fruit available. Lobby very cold look with no frills. Large rooms

Outstanding choice for New Orleans visit!

Posted 14-Nov-2016
My wife and I recently stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites. The property location is ideal for a visit to this area. It's just a short walk to the French Quarter, the St Charles street car line is adjacent to the property, and there are numerous shops, stores and restaurant within a 5 minute walk. This location also offers the standard Drury Inn full breakfast, free popcorn & soda, and happy hour featuring hot food and 3 free drinks (alcoholic too!). The rooms are extremely comfortable with a microwave, small refrigerator, phone, lots of charging locations, and good wifi. This is the place of choice for our future visits.

Awesome hotel with great amenities!

Posted 3-Nov-2016
We're locals but stayed here for a friend's bday/Halloween party in the area. I have never had better service! Thr front desk staff was super polite and knowledgeable, the suite was impeccable and modern, and the complimentary happy hour was so relaxing. There is also a hot tub if it's too cool to swim. Oh and gorgeous views of the city! Everything is within walking distance.

Pros: Close enough but not too close
Cons: Road noise
Our room was third floor facing Poydras st. and we did hear street noise that woke us up early both mornings. It was clean enough and I'm super germ conscious. The free happy hour drinks and breakfast was nice. Valet guys were great. I would consider staying again but bring my sound machine. Walking distance to French Quarter and WW2 museum.
