There should be some kind of restaurant in that big beautiful main area - it is so glaringly vacant it appears uninviting. The room was great, aside from the shower/water pressure.

The hotel was clean, staff was courteous, the check-in process was exceptionally efficient, and the location was perfect. I was a bit confused at first though because I thought there was an operational restaurant within the hotel, but instead, you order from an app that includes several dining options to have it delivered to your door. I wish I had known that upfront when I booked the reservation. Overall, I had a great time and had zero issues throughout my stay.

Absolutely disappointing. Was not aware that the kitchen was closed for renovation when the reservation was made they couldn’t even be bothered to provide coffee in the lobby in the mornings, or keep up with ice water in the lobby as well. The bathroom vanity light went out after the first day, housekeeping, maintenance never did fix it before I checked out.

I booked hotel for pool and hot tub. Mainly the hot tub and it was not working. Maintenance claimed they were working on it and it would be repaired next week. Pool area furniture looked worn and uninviting. Very disappointed / I believe I will now call the hotels I book and verify the claim that they have a hot tub available.

This property did not advertise that their lounge was under construction at the time of booking. Had we known this, we would have stayed elsewhere, this was a large factor in selecting this hotel. The shower in our room did not work. When I contacted Marriott, they would not do anything for us, as we booked through Expedia. I am hopeful Expedia will review my comment and compensate us in some form for this stay.

Any easy 2 block walk to the convention center. Actually within walking distance of Bourban St., Jackson Square, Riverwalk, and casino. Only negative was the hours of the Starbucks/bar.

Staff was excellent. My room was clean, but it had a bad smell. Valet parking is mandatory and is $40 per night. I didn't realize that when I booked, although that was probably my own fault.

I had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated, but nice. The coffee bar downstairs does not give cash an option, which I didn't care for, so I only used it 1 morning.

I liked that everything was close by and it was very clean and quiet. The one dislike I had was just issues with the booking, they would not let my brother check in without my permission even though he was already on the listing.

This place was so nice and I will be booking here again. There is a loft feeling to the lobby. It is clean, the staff friendly, and beds amazing. Valet parking only which is convenient but $40/day.

Stayed here for Mardi Gras. Didn’t realize it was on the parade route for Lundi Gras. Security was present, which was nice to see. Room was nice and neat. Restaurant and shopping near. We enjoyed ourselves.

I like the area we were in and there was several places to enjoy in walking distance. I didn’t like that there was no other options for parking instead of the hotel parking. I didn’t like the fact they didn’t use ApplePay as a lot of hotels do no way. I didn’t like how I had to request several times for hoisekeeping. I didn’t like that i booked 2 rooms under my reservation and they put us on separate floors. The pool and hot tub was broke and the courtyard where we sit out on the balcony and overlook was a very ugly scene with dead plants or trees everywhere and yellow tape that draped over the pool area.

Beautiful use of restoration decor!
Stayed 3 nights with a family of 4, including 2 teens. Unfortunately, the pool and whirlpool were being serviced, which was one of the reasons we booked there. The front desk staff was very helpful making recommendations on where to go for food and small needs. The cafe staff closed early for breakfast but the chef prepared food for my daughter anyways. Above and beyond! Room was clean and comfortable.

The desk managers were wonderful and welcoming. It was a bummer to see that some of the pool facilities were closed but the hotel room was beautiful and spacious.

A terrible stain on the Marriott brand
For $400 USD per night, this hotel is highway robbery. For a 7-day stay, our room was only cleaned once. We had to constantly ask them to clean our room with no results. They were only willing to give us fresh towels. Our one-bedroom suite had extremely bad stale air & windows that did not open. We downgraded (without price compensation) to a small room with a balcony, which was needed for the bad air quality and stale smell of the room. The air-conditioning didn’t work and had to be fixed twice.

Mardi Gras stay
My family and I went down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. It was the perfect location to walk to parade and about 10 min ride to food spots. Only bad thing the light by bathroom light wasn’t working. But still was a good place to stay.

The rooms were very nice, clean and the bed comfortable. I felt safe inside this property and the staff helped with that, plus staff were kind and friendly, I also liked the Starbucks inside the building. I totally recommend this establishment.
