I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing getaway with the perfect sunrise and sunset view ever! And also they offer Kayaks and it was super easy with the kayak boat launch!!"

"The house is a delightful place in a great location. It had everything we needed while my son attended life at the zoo camp at the NC Zoo. I especially appreciated the coffee bar and comfortable couches while I worked a few days during our stay. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog. She enjoyed being able to watch the birds and squirrels out of the very large windows. We would definitely stay there again any time we need to be in the area."

"Our host, Mark, was very nice and responsive. The views from the cottage are so beautiful and this is a peaceful area. There were some much appreciated provisions available when we arrived. Beds and living room furniture were comfortable. Will definitely come back if we're ever in this area overnight again."

"Looking for paradise? You may find it here. This waterfront home is nestled in a cove insulated from heavy lake traffic and noise. We did stay during the week, but our dock was amazingly peaceful, with continuous entertainment from the plentiful egrets and herons. The kayaks are a nice addition and great way to explore. Grilling on the deck overlooking the water is a delight I won't soon forget. This house has everything you need and is obviously cared for. And the neighbors are just icing on...

"Cute little property on a quiet street. Location was good, easy to get to town and hiking. The house was nicely decorated, modern/farmhouse, inside was clean. The television needs updating; we could not even use the netflix app or cast from our devices since the TV was very outdated and the channels available were limited. We were not there to watch TV but at night it would have been nice. It also would have been nice if there was a "renter's manual" to tell you where things were in the house,...

"We stayed for 4 days when we attended the 2024 jeep jamboree. Plenty of parking and right on the water. Comfortable chairs to hand out on the patio and sit on the dock. The house is small but great for two. AC kept us cool, very comfortable bed, nice kitchen and living room condo. Location wonderful. House was like the pictures. Would stay here again. "

"Our entire stay was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and our pet. The rooms and common areas were clean. The parking area was well lit and felt safe. There was a nice grass area as well for my fur baby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. We also enjoyed the breakfast which had a nice variety of items. "

Beautiful View On The Lake

"We were looking for a place to stay on the water where we could fish and relax for the weekend … this place exceeded our expectations !!! We loved the steps going down to the lake house! The house is the perfect size for a small family. The kitchen cabinets were my favorite, and now I’m looking at replacing the cabinets at our house! The beds were comfortable and we all slept peacefully! We did some late night relaxing by the fire pit as well. Let’s not forget the fishing. We didn’t catch anything but we had lots of bites! They have 3 kayaks to use, but we had so many things we wanted to do that we didn’t get a chance to use those. The neighbors are very nice! My favorite part was watching the sunset on the dock!! You just can’t beat the view that this lake house offers!!! We even had a crane pay us a loud visit lol. We jumped when he first came by but then we laughed when our daughter said she thought a teradactyl was going to eat her !!! We will be back for sure !!! "

"Enjoyed my stay it was absolutely quiet I felt like we were the only ones in the hotel until we came out for the buffet of a breakfast the kitchen staff was so friendly and helpful this lady was an Angel great hospitality. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub and I loved watching the kids play in the pool. Very nice get away I’d definitely come again."
