"The place was perfect, exactly as depicted, in a lovely home in a quiet area a block from bay. It was convenient to most of Kent. The rooms are lovely and cozy with additional pullout on lower floors. I have teens so the added space was a blessing. The host was very kind and attentive checking in and offering any information to make our stay more pleasant. Checking in and out was simple and care free. I would certainly recommend it and intend to stay there again."

"Great parking, close to town, no smart tv but it’s okay"

"Bright refreshed renovated hotel. Large rooms, friendly staff, gambling slot machines not my thing but were busy. Restaurants were good, and staff were friendly. Only down side was the room doors were tricky and difficult to lock at times, and despite requesting housekeeping twice, over a four-day stay, they never came. Garbage cans overflowed, ran out of coffee, cups, tissues, and towels. Reported it, and manager said she would comp a night through the third party agent. I’ll watch for that remedy. Relaxing holiday weekend despite the rain out and lack of housekeeping."

"I don’t know if Best Western puts their front desk staff through any basic Customer Service training, because the person at the front desk acted let we were an annoyance for arriving. How hard is it to say welcome. It basically become a transaction of mono syllablic grunts."

"We arrived early and the staff was wonderful and had our room ready soon after we arrived. The staff is very helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The property is well cared for and the location on the river is stunning. We were at the inn on a week day and it was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was a basket of breakfast biscuits and protein bars, no fruit or yogurt but very delicious coffee."

"The rooms at this hotel reserved specifically for Expedia customers are only at the front of the place. The front is about 150 ft. From a major highway. Trucks, tractor trailer, motorcycles. Loud cars racing up Rt. 50s made for one of the loudest, disturbed sleeps ever. We asked for a room facing away from the highway, but we were told we needed to pay full price for another room. No paying the difference between room price. She did offer 10% for the new room, but the cost was still $240.00. Bring ear plugs if you decide to stay here. The approach to the breakfast area was sickeningly rich with pine cleaner. Not what you want with your coffee. It was aged, but not dirty. Staff hinted this is what you get when you book Expedia. Thanks. But no thanks. I'm finding booking rooms with Expedia may not be the way to go in the future."
