"This is a stunning property on the Straight of San Juan de Fuca with extensive beach access in a good location. The unit was good with ample windows for enjoying the view and plenty of space for my husband and I and our small terrier. It was a good base for the sightseeing and fishing we did. Secluded Strait of Juan De Fuca Waterfront, Stunning View

"We booked here for our anniversary trip and it was just magical. The views from even inside on the sofa were so wonderful - love that picture window - that it was hard to leave and do all of our outdoor activites! We saw a bald eagle, blue heron, wonderful sea birds, some sea lions, and something that might have been a tiny whale! The stars were just beautiful as well - far more plentiful than in the city - and one night power to the area was cut out because of electric work and then the stars were even more bright. We used the wood stove for a couple of cozy nights though there is electric heat as well. The beach access was a little steep for us with our middle age creaky knees so please be aware of that if you have issues. The beach was lovely and private. Also just loved the owl themed dishes and decorations - could be called the Owl Cottage!"

"The property is truly unique, with a detailed ocean-themed decor that looks even better than in the photos. Michelle (the host) is very responsive and conveniently lives next door. The extras (the binoculars, hiking poles, breakfast items, and tea/coffee supplies) were an added bonus, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The location is good for visiting Neah Bay, the northern beaches, and Lake Ozette. Even the weather was better than in the forecast, and we enjoyed our trip very much."
