What a wonderful place to stay! An old hunting lodge in a small village in the French countryside within easy driving distance to Metz. You drive up a small incline and arrive at the front of the property which is part of a working farm. The front entrance looks great! The owners son let us in (there is a number to call on the door if you get there and no one is in the building) and led us to our room. Lovely historic hotel with great staff. It’s even a stop on the Petit Train tour. Our room was spacious with a view of the church and an outside area looking over the court yard. Great location and walking distance to many cafes and attractions. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by Isabel who provided outstanding friendly service with a smile.
