Not only was the staff was very friendly and accommodating, but they spoke English. It's not too far of a walk to good food and they offered shuttles to the ski park, even after i missed the pick up time. My room was very clean. The ski locker was very convenient and nothing got stolen. The onsen was great and the restaurant had the best steak I've ever had in my life. Thank you Phoenix staff for the great stay. Hotel staff offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus terminal when we arrived/departed. They also have a shuttle to the ski slopes each morning. Breakfast included is very good. Restaurant looks very nice for dinner also, but they were booked out during our stay (you'll have to book ahead if you want to eat there). Hotel also has an onsen which is great for relaxing after skiing.
