Located 4 houses from the famous Cherry Grove Beach in North Myrtle, walk right across Ocean Blvd to the public beach access, and relax on the beach. Each room has been tastefully decorated and well stocked to accommodate you, our guests, from linens and towels to dishes and silverware, our home is ready for your visit. We look forward to your stay and hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. The space During your stay, you will have access to the full ground floor unit in our multi-family home, there is a cabana in the backyard, with a permanent resident, he goes by his nickname "Bean", he's Gia's dad, he's available if you need any assistance or have questions about the area. You'll love the screened in porch off the master bedroom; it's a perfect spot for your morning coffee. We've created an outdoor eating space for evening barbecues which boasts a dry bar, picnic table and outdoor grill. There is a common laundry room available on the ground floor which is accessed at the back of the house. Meander is your home away from home. Guest access The first floor unit is your private residence, the outdoor eating area, back porch, and screened porch are for your enjoyment only. The parking is shared with the other guests, as is the laundry room and there is an outdoor shower to wash any sand off Other things to note Our little duplex is older, the A/C is window units, the house is very cool and comfortable, but if you or your group like the house to be in the “60's this isn't going to be a suitable property for you. The sun comes up on the back of the house, so it's best to close the blinds to keep those 2 rooms more relaxed. We had ease of access being on the ground floor (which also stayed cooler in the heat), no issues with parking, and we were within walking distance of the beach. Given all the places we have stayed over the years, I was impressed by their attention to detail and how well equipped it was — sand toys for the kiddo included. We loved our time at Meader on Down! The description is correct that you are a very short walking distance to the beach, plenty manageable for your gear and cooler for a full day in the sand. We also enjoyed being able to walk a few minutes to the bar at the pier for an afternoon margarita or ride our bikes less than 5 minutes to Boulineau's for a few groceries, or even better, for Happy Hour at Snooky's. We also loved returning to the house after a day on the beach and sitting at the tiki bar downstairs while we cooked on the Weber grill. Inside stayed cool and cozy and provided plenty of room for our family of four and our small dog. The property manager is extremely friendly but you'd barely know he's there. Seriously, I’m not just saying that - stop looking this is your place! The place is nestled on a dead end road so you don’t have car traffic. The dead end road provides a nice little nook. Has easy access -literally steps away from beach. Bean stays in the rear of the property and is basically a on-site property manager & tour guide. If you would happen to have any issues you can talk directly to him (which we didn’t!). He does a nice job of staying out of your way while being extremely friendly & helpful. Everything has been remodeled and they installed a new mini-split air conditioner/heater unit which makes it very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Nice screened in porch and sitting area outside to enjoy your coffee or Margarita. We are still talking about how much we loved the place. We’ll definitely be returning to the exact spot again.
