"We booked through Expedia and paid extra for a room with a view. However, when we checked in the staff said they couldn't guarantee us a room with a lake view because we booked through Expedia. They were kind, though, and still gave us a room with a view. I'm disappointed in Expedia and hotel communications, but the staff was awesome."

"I was in town for a wedding and I just needed a room for the night and the value was quite nice. Good price clean room. The property is not well landscaped but I didn’t care about that. I just needed a clean room for the night and so for my purposes, it was just fine. The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean. The air-conditioning was nice. It was just lovely."

"This is an amazing property. The cottage is perfectly comfortable with a lot of vintage charm. It's well outfitted. The outdoor spaces, however, are what make the property shine. A huge yard overlooking Lake Michigan, multiple outdoor dining areas, and a huge fire pit with premium furniture make for perfect outdoor recreating. The private beach also offers some amazing swimming and paddling."

"The host was superb, getting back with any questions we had. The information book provided covered everything. The home was beautiful and spotless and they provided wonderful resources. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary appliances if cooking in. The pool and hot tub and all the amenities were same and even better than photographs. Walking to the lake was a lovely stroll and the beach and Lake Michigan were almost private. The sand is great for play. I can’t say enough to express the privacy and memories this provides our family and will be forever grateful and hope to return again. "
