As a heads up this is kind of like a campground so you can hear others in their places and the walls of the cabin are a bit thin but didnt cause any problems or disruptions. "This is a ryokan where the rooms have been updated but the onsen baths are still original, as is most of the town. The staff was extremely helpful. The cooks were very accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. There are two private baths you can reserve in addition to the male and female baths. The town is cute, you can walk all around it in a half hour, plus time for soft serve and coffee."

"The hotel was very clean and absolutely wonderful to stay in. It has a mini kitchen in the lobby that is useful for heating up food and provides utensils. The rooms looked very beautiful and was functional. Next to the hotel is a rest stop that had a local market and restaurant that you can reach easily from the hotel's back door. Overall, a great place to stay."

"We opted to include the half board meals (dinner and breakfast) which was an excellent choice. Dinner was amazing with so many delightful Japanese dishes that were beautifully presented. We didn’t think we could finish it all but we managed! The hot spring included the large main bath, outdoor, bubble, waterfall, and the cold baths as well as two types of saunas. Playing table tennis in yukata was also fun. We are glad we stayed here."
