It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully for longer next time. I could go on and on forever, this was a dream property for us both. The property is located on a huge piece of land overlooking the river, exceptionally well maintained, with exotic flowers everywhere, the peaceful views on the river with nothing but the birds as background, the hiking trails, everything is just wonderful! The room was very nice, rustic, and cool, with the fireplace as a very nice touch - it was a bit chilly in the evenings and we really enjoyed lighting the fire :). They also have a vegetable and fruit garden, which they use for the restaurant meals. The food was great - they have a Dinner special menu that's different every night and it was very good! And also very reasonably priced. But most of all, it is truly the people that made the stay exceptional, everyone, from the reception to the gardener to the restaurant and bar staff to the random worker we'd meet while exploring the property grounds were just so nice and kind!
