"A very warm welcome from the family, also a flask of coffee on arrival which was delicious and a souvenir package to take back with you. The apartment was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, tv, radio and really comfortable bed. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is in easy reach of many towns in the area. "Booked for a week encompassing the wine festival in Bernkastel-Kues and as a base for cycling along the Moselle river. The apartment was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and very helpful. Good walks nearby through the vineyards were well signposted. There was garage storage for our bikes and bike rack and the apartment had everything we needed. There were wine tasting opportunities and a wine Geocaching walk available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider...

"The hotel was very clean and plenty of paid parking. We didn’t have breakfast. Our main issue was the location which was further from the centre than we anticipated . It was a good 20-25 minute walk for us . Not normally a problem but with the heat this week we found it a difficult walk . We did however really relish the air con. Good supermarket a few minutes walk away"

Our room was quite spacious and offered a lovely view of the vineyards that line the hillside on either side of the river.
