It is nicely finished with nice furniture and plenty of space. The outdoor decks are great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. The real feature is the location on the lake, beautiful views! The house was clean and well appointed with everything you need. If you are staying in the fall please know the lake level is low which affected the view with a lot less water. You cannot boat, fish or swim with low levels. The owners did discount our rate as the listing at the time did not reflect it. I’m sure summer would be better with the dock etc. ##### Michael D. It was very cold the first few days and we enjoyed relaxing in the house and the hot tub. When we ventured out later in our stay it was close to everything. The road in wasn’t bad with the snow. It had the necessary kitchen things for cooking. When we had an issue with the heat and the fireplace the owners came and helped, were super nice and helpful. The location is nice meaning its close to the lake and recreational area but the Morganton city is not very well maintained. We could see abandoned homes, trash etc in the neighborhood.
