"Old town house with high ceilings in the lounge and dining room. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of pans, crockery and cutlery. All the rooms are beautifully decorated (I wish she could come and do my house!!). The airco was a godsend in the bedrooms (we didn’t use it in the lounge). A couple of minutes walk from the castle one way and also from a Super U supermarket in the other. Picturesque old town. "This is a very attractive hotel in a lovely setting, in the town of Montreuil-Bellay. The facilities are very good, but a restaurant for evening would be a definite bonus. However, the hotel is only a few steps from restaurants. Excellent breakfast.The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our visit."
