"Our gang of 15 had a wonderful week at the Firefly Estate. The house is huge and very clean. We swam in the pool and the lake every day. Enjoyed the paddle board and kayak. Played lots of ping pong, grilled many dinners, enjoyed a outside fire, played games and ate together on the large dining table, appreciated the AC and fans in the house while it was 90 outside; had great communication with the host and our needs/requests were accomodated quickly. There was lots of space for those of us needing to work to find a spot in the house. It was a great week. "

"When we arrived everything was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully decorated (loved the retro kitchen). We loved the pool (was super warm to swim) and the view (great for people watching if you’re like me ). We even got to see some cool lightning and thunderstorms on the lake. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the boat traffic from the condo. The bed was comfortable. The parking lot was well lit. I felt safe staying here. The pavilions with grills looked new however we didn’t use them. We got to see 3 bucks (deer) right on the lawn out of our condo. Bridgewater plaza was about 15 minutes away and Moosie’s was our favorite place to eat! We look forward to staying here again. "

"It was a beautiful home on a great part of the lake! It was a little hard with little ones and all the steps (double decker dock, three floors at the house) but - if you had older children only it was perfect!!! "

"We loved the open concept kitchen, dining table, and family room. We were all together when we were inside. We also played games in the evening on the deck off the main floor. We were happy to have plenty of chairs and invited friends from a couple coves down to play "Mind the Gap" in our generational teams. I was glad I didn't bring my elderly mother this year because she could not have navigated the steps. For the rest of us, our legs are stronger! "

"Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. "
