"The walls are PAPER thin. We were placed in a room on the first floor next to laundry and the door slamming started at 6am. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night so there was no need to ask for a different room. "

"I was very impressed with this hotel. And I'm not big on staying in hotels. But, we stayed in one of the 1 bedroom suites. It was absolutely perfect. Nice big bathroom. Loved the separate bedroom. Plenty of storage. TV in living room and bedroom. Separate AC units for living room and bedroom. And I was shocked by how well the kitchen was stocked. This was a hotel, but it had everything you'd need in that kitchen to cook a meal. Stove, oven, microwave, toaster, even a dishwasher! And all the dishes you'd need. I mean even down to a cutting board. Nice size refrigerator/freezer. Not your typical hotel mini fridge. We were in town for a wedding so we were busy with that and didn't get to utilize it, but was very impressed. I mean you could stay here for an extended period and cook your own meals, and with that fridge buy plenty of groceries. We did enjoy the pool one morning before the days activities started. And did I mention clean.... there was some water that dripped off the shower door when I opened it. I dried it up with the white floor towel. There was absolutely no dirt on that towel from the floor. And when you opened the shower door there was a faint smell of bleach which makes me feel like they really cleaned it well. Also all the staff we interacted with was friendly. Would 1000% stay there again. Book it. You will not be disappointed!"

"The only thing that topped our AMAZING stay at the Riverhouse were our SPECTACULAR hosts Nikki & Dean! They were by far the most accommodating hosts I’ve ever had - hands down. This property was beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed AND MORE. Beds were comfortable, linen was fresh and clean, and towels were plentiful. The Sunrise Suite upstairs (that has a full bathroom) was an added bonus. Our group of 9 ranged in age from 40s to 80s, so the ADA ramp came in handy as well. Our weather was rainy this weekend, so we definitely plan on returning to take advantage of all this property has to offer. If you’re thinking about booking, go ahead and do it. You won’t regret it!"

Intercostal Waterfront Private Cottage Retreat Close to Mayo Clinic

"Very clean and well equipped including snacks, coffee and all anyone needs.We felt very much at home and will try to book this nice little cottage again on our next Jacksonville trip.Suggestion to Hostess:Suggest you review and modify the sprinkler system so it does not spray well water on the car, leaving hard water spots. The mostly dirt parking area and yard walkway to cottage tracks dirt to the cottage and to the car. Suggest improved in that area. The cottage is delightful!"
