A unique, centrally located 1 bedroom rental with a pool and a yard full of flowering plants! Just 10 blocks from the beach in a wonderful neighborhood. Only a 3 block walk to a bakery, restaurants, brewery and such. 2 newly updated parks 8 blocks as well. Inside is a bedroom, spacious bathroom and extras that will help make your stay a memorable one. The only private pool in Jax Beach for less than $300/nt and also the only slide. The pavilion has comfy couches, just a few steps from your door. Plenty of shady places to chill in the back yard or grab a tan in the sun! Lawn games and pool floats as well. A stocked Kuerig with 12 coffee types to kick start the morning. For guests staying 3+ nights you can use the golf cart free for a few hours one day(or rent for cheap, info below). Lots of privacy, good times and relaxation to be had and… at the most inexpensive rental in town! but, PLEASE continue to look at all the pics/description of the property in and out, to see if this is for you. We feel the space is great, but also realize it isn’t for everyone. So to make sure we ask to look thoroughly, so everyone is happy upon arrival. We feel the 2 room rental works great for 2 people, 3-4 if you have children. 4 adults are welcome if you are looking to save $, but may be tight while inside. Reviews: since we began in Feb ‘22, we’ve averaged 5 reviews a month. 90%+ have been 10 star(rest 8+), thanks to so many wonderful customers. My biggest surprise: how many people chose to never leave the pool area for how relaxing and fun they found it! Also all of our repeat winter monthly renters! A constant beach breeze thanks to being by the sports fields and so close to the ocean. Add in the pool’s slide cascading water into the pool and a tranquil afternoon is about to be had. Or grab the basketball for some hoops. Many people also like that 3 of my neighbors are police, so a very safe environment. We also do not charge for extra guests, laundry or have any hidden fees. We make sure to have the lowest($45) cleaning fee, since I do it myself and appreciate you staying here. You get a free parking spot in the pavemented driveway. Then only 20 easy steps past blooming plants to your door and backyard oasis. To enter the rental it’s only a 6” step up, so very accessible for kids and older folks. 10% off all rentals 28+ days. Only $25 for ALL fury friends if paid on the reservation($35 if late). So, please just remember to 1\. add them to the reservation and 2\. keep them off the bed/couch. All of these will save you quite a bit of $ to spend around town. Personalized lit up numeric keypad door lock making entrance easy and safe. INSIDE: The queen bed has 4 pillows, the comfiest of sheets and 3 blankets to choose from. There are 2 Cimino 29.5” Sleepers(Wayfair) that double as a couch/ottoman. This is where guests 3 and 4 would sleep. All bedding and 4 extra pillows included. An AC-heater window unit to keep the room at your perfect temp and very quiet at just 55db. A large ceiling fan and there is also a standing fan in the closet to adjust to your comfort level. The 6’ mirror by the window is convenient for makeup and getting ready for the night out. Seven foot high windows, with shutter style blinds beautifully and easily adjust the very well lit area. After the sun sets gently thru the trees and bedroom blinds, 3 auto night lights make moving around the area simple. Also handy for when entering the rental at night, you can see very easily with all the lights off. 2 “touch” reading lamps are on each side of the bed, each with 3 brightness settings to not bother others sleeping. 4 folding tables for computer/eating. The area is also full of plants, often blooming. The well lit bathroom has a large counter/mirror, beautiful plants and lots of storage. Stand alone shower and separate large soaking tub! Shampoo/conditioner/soap included. Lots of extras like Aloe and lotion(fresh Aloe plants outside to use as well:). Plug-ins keep the area smelling fresh. 2 Walk in closets : Large condiment stocked fridge, microwave, air fryer-pizza oven and Keurig. There also is a 2 burner plug in stovetop, pots, pans and silverware. 4 wine glasses. Spices. Large washing sink. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Even a back massager after a long day. Styrofoam cooler. A washer/dryer are in the garage for those sandy clothes or drying water logged towels. We also have 2-3 bikes, backpack beach chairs and a set of Taylor Made golf clubs available upon request, no charge. 100’s of balls as well to choose from to use for a round. (Jax Beach Golf is only 1.5 miles away). OUTSIDE: There is a year round pool that can be used anytime of day and night. With a slide! Plenty of seating, clean grill and plug in Edison lights at night. Lots blooming flowers border the the front and back yard. A 16’x8’ pavilion, with a constant breeze, is right outside your door for all seasons/weather with 5 seats. A hammock to also to relax on! 2 plastic patio loungers and 2 metal chairs as well. So plenty of comfy seating of all sorts and weather conditions. There are also yard games to play like ladder golf, bocce, lawn jarts and ring toss. A basketball hoop on the road and another in the pool. At night there are 4 solar lights on the sides/backyard of the house for safety. The rental also controls 2 pool side patio lights, one on each side of the keypad door. So if it is dark outside the back yard is always lit up. Ease, comfort and safety all night long. In the colder months we have a chiminea out back, stocked with wood for you to use. The back yard is also fenced for dogs/children and is grassy. Pool/beach towels and koozies are always under the pavilion. The keypad lock also lights up when pressed, no key needed. Got kids? While on the bed you can see the pool slide, front yard and a Netflix movie all at once. Kids: playing you: relaxing, worry free! So simply a beautiful, safe and relaxed feeling with thoughtful touches around. We are so proud of it and we think it would make your trip to Jax Beach even more memorable! We live on the property as well, but between school, working and camping we are gone a lot of the time. You will seldom see us and if so, you will notice us giving you your complete privacy at all times. The back yard pool area is yours the whole stay. While you are back there you will have it all to yourselves. When you are away from the rental we sometimes do use the pool area as well. We also share a 20’ wall(kinda like a condo), none of which is the bedroom and has been fully soundproofed with 3” foam. Zero noise. \*4pm check-in helps me with school pick up/cleaning the rental, but can usually be moved up. Same with 11am checkout, is usually lenient if we can! Just inquire. We would rather you sleep in or enjoy the pool before departing… GOLF CART rental!! Take it to the beach, dinner or to see the area in such a fun way for the day. 2 comfy seats up front, 2 in the back for all ages(2 back seat belts). Covered in festive stickers from all our travels. Rent the VRBO for 3+ days and you can use the cart for free for a few hours one day. Monthly renters can use it once weekly for free for a few hours. $100/day or $50 for 3 hours to rent it after that. !!!LOCALS!!! rent if for company coming in town and use the pool. Get the in-laws out of your hair every night, into a clean, chill and safe place that has a pool you can use with them!! \-or- Rent this property along with a larger one(a few are in walking distance). Nobody needs to sleep on the old couch everyone just sat on all night. Cheap nightly rental to split and pool to use for all. Around the property: Grill gas- very clean along with utensils(2 Supermarkets are 1.5 miles away) Board/dice/card games in closet - all ages!! TV- Netflix, Disney, Hulu, local channels(ABC Fox CBS…) Pandora is add free, any song you can think of. As of 1/1/25 a repeat renter keeps his YouTube TV account on the tv as well. So you should have full tv, but that’s just a possible, but probable free bonus. So much for such a low rental rate!! Books/magazines- fun games, reading, local hot spots and info, kids 8’ Trampoline out back Safe Neighborhood - Jax Police Sheriff lives directly across the street in case of emergency, but no jurisdiction to impede your fun. There is an outside outlet by your door for chargers and cooking outside. Very comfy outside furniture that is lightweight(5lbs) to easily move around for your sun/shade/yard preference. Our interaction is solely based on your preference. You won’t see or hear much of me while you are here. Either way, much less than a hotel of constant foot traffic and noise. I feel you deserve the P&Q you paid for and deserve. But, if you feel more comfortable meeting me, please let me know. Check in-out could not be quicker or easier also, any time of day, no interaction needed. All you will need is the personalized 4 digit door keypad code that you receive on the day of check in. Location, Location Location: Just 3-4 blocks away…. and all in the same direction is everything you may need while here!!! A Gas Station right bedside these also. .5 miles Monkey’s Uncle Tavern(4.4 locals fave) and other handy stores like Dollar Tree, which is packed full of goodies, incl refrigerated items. Happening areas: 1.5 north to Atlantic Beach food/drink/shops 1.5 miles south to Jax Beach pier, shops, food/drink I’ve lived here since ‘03 and know plenty of hot spots, feel free to ask. Lastly and for reading all the way, I have 1 more amazing tip for lots of savings on food, drinks and fun. I chose this property because of its location, nice safe neighborhood, ease of getting around, just 10 minutes to the Mayo Climic, and walking distance to eateries. Being pet friendly was a must for me, my 2 dogs accompanied me on this trip and they settled right in. I brought food with me, there was an air fryer/toaster combo oven and microwave to heat things up, refrigerator to keep leftovers cold and the freezer kept the cold packs frozen solid. Unfortunately though the amenities were less than acceptable. The advertised pictures were extremely deceptive and misleading. It was either a room attached to the house where he lives, or it was a pool shed. Either way, the shower, toilet & bathtub were open with no doors. Upon entry, you’re in the bathroom. No kitchen. Advertised sleeps 4, not true. It had an overly perfume smell, which triggered immediate physical reaction, which lead me to believe it was hiding something more nefarious, like mold. We were told that when we are swimming, the host will close his blinds. This made me and my daughter very uneasy. We stayed long enough to book a hotel (15 minutes). We reached out to vrbo support 4 days ago with video? And have yet to get a response. I will never recommend vrbo due to lack of reply ##### Susan R. We brought along our two dogs and absolutely loved that the property had a secure fenced-in area where they could safely play. The private pool was perfect for relaxing afternoons, and we especially enjoyed the cozy seating area that felt like our own little retreat.The location couldn’t be better—everything we needed was within walking distance: the beach, restaurants, and shops. It made our stay stress-free and super convenient.Overall, this rental checked all the boxes for comfort, convenience, and pet-friendliness. I rented this spot out for my two girl friends to stay for 5 days. It was the perfect spot for the two of them. Mostly it was just a place for them to sleep, but all their needs were accommodated for here. Using laundry, using the golf cart, etc.The pool was SO clean and the slide was functional and so fun! The walkway to the entrance of the rental and the backyard is absolutely amazing, I was stunned by all the gorgeous plants. Adam, the owner, was fast in responding to anything we needed or any questions we had! We were a little skeptical of noise as the rental is almost like a closed off in-law suite that is a part of their home, but we could not hear a single sound coming from inside their house while at the rental. My girl friends felt very safe and private. Also, their sweet neighborhood cat came to say hi to us every day on our way out which was just the cherry on top of the whole experience (: Thank you so much Adam! The pool was perfect and the room was comfortable. The golf cart was a very nice perk to go to breakfast and then to the beach. The host is great. It would be nice to be able to use the bathroom without "trapping" anyone else who is with you in either the bedroom or outside; however, it is not an issue if toilet privacy is not a huge deal. I did not pick on this from the pictures but it definitely would not have changed my mind about staying here! Checking in and out was super easy, the location is close to the beach and little restaurants in the area. We walked from the house to strings brewery. While we didnt think we would even use the pool, we ended up in it daily. The bathroom is large and so is the bedroom for two adults, more than youd get in a hotel. The mini kitchen area was amazing, we were able to save leftovers and some water in the fridge to reheat later. Definitely a 10/10 stay and worth it over a hotel!
