The size of the house seemed to be over 1000 sq. feet which were perfect for a family of 6 or more. There was a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine, saving us a lot of money and hassle. The location was also exellent, Sandanbeki bus stop was right outside the guesthouse and from here you can get to most of the tourist attractions without changing bus. The house owner was living in the adjacent house and he was so nice that whenever we needed help he would be available for assisting us. The price was amazingly low and we wholeheartedly recommend the accomodation to those visiting Shirahama if an accomodation with hotspring and board is not a must." A rural location but the bus stops were outside. I had a car which made the visit easier for me as I had the freedom to get around as I chose. Beautiful area, a great hostel with gorgeous scenery. The onset was lovely and clean, and the only thing that made it feel hostel like was that the interior decor was probably tired, however, coming from the UK, that is par for the course in this country and the hostel was more than tolerable for the price and facilities."
